I watched Tyler get out of the pool and start to head off to who knows where when Kiera nudges me in the shoulder.
" You have a lot of explaining to do missie!" She says, but her stomach grumbles before I can say anything.
" Hold that thought let's get something to eat then we will talk!" She says starting to walk out of the pool.
" Finally I'm starving." I say and sprint for my towel
" Fat girl probs." she jokes as we both laugh.
" Hmm how about the cafe next to the lobby?" I ask thinking back to when we were running
" Sounds good to me as long as there's food there I'm in!" Kiera says as her stomach makes more noises
" Hey quiet your stomach down there!"
I laugh walking over the bridge
" What can I say! It wants what It wants!" She says and starts running to the cafe. We both reach it in no time at all and quickly push the door open.
" Hey what do you want? You should probably go and find a table." She says looking around the crowded place
" Umm whatever you get!" I say and start searching for an open table I mean there's only two of us, so it shouldn't be that hard. I peek around a booth to a smirking Ryan.
" oh uhh hey, I thought you were working!" I say trying to hurry Kiera over her
"Well it's kind of my lunch break soo ya." He says awkwardly, but smiles as he sees Kiera coming over. She justs gives him a flirty smile.
" Hey!" He says as she just blushes and sits down at the table.
"Hey, it's Ryan right??" She says even though I'm postive she remembers his name; I mean who could forget him!
" Yep that's me!" He says giving her a wink.
" Do you mind if we join you?" She asks giving him a wink back!
" Of course not!" He says and I sit down next to Kiera on the other side of the table.
"Sooo..." I say awkwardly at the pair who are staring at each other. So this must be what it felt like for Kiera; third wheelers these days!
" So how about you tell me about this Tyler guy!" Kiera almost shouts totally forgetting we are in a restaurant.
"Pssh what boy?" I say trying to point out that Ryan was right there! He could know Tyler or something.
" Uhh the one you were totally flirting with in the pool who I guess you already knew, but didn't tell me! " She says giving me a hard glare.
" Ohh that Tyler haha. I just met him on my run this morning after you turned back. We started talking until I had to go back! " I say nonchalantly twirling my straw in my sweet tea, which is now all gone.
" WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME?! He was smoking hot!" She says, which makes Ryan choke on his drink. Her face goes as red as a tomato and she shrinks down into her chair.
"Oops I forgot you were here." She mumbles making him laugh.
" Haha it's all good! But I think I know who this " smoking hot" Tyler guy is." He says smirking toward Kiera. Wow what a flirt!
"Really how! " I say quickly hoping it was a different Tyler!
"Ya he has brown hair and green eyes; maybe about 4 inches taller than you." He says while trying to think.
" Ohh no this Tyler has brown hair, green eyes and is about 4 inches taller.... Wait that's what you said!" I say shockingly.
" Yep I know him then!" He says laughing while the waitress puts down our food. Kiera inhales that food so fast while both Ryan and I are just staring at her.
" Wow what a pig! " I joke and she blushes trying to avoid eye contact!
"Hey I'm a growing girl here." she says while Ryan just laughes
" You're cute when you blush!" He says.
Like I haven't heard that one before way to be original Ryan!
Kiera's face heats up even more and she justs looks over to me for help.
" Sooo what do you know about Tyler." I curiously say. I mean how would he know Tyler if Tyler is only going to be here for a week like me.
" Well I know that he is the resort player that's for sure! That boy walks around with a new girl each time I pass him!" He says and my heart drops. I was probably just one of those " new girls" then.
" Wait, but how could that be when he is only here for a week and just got here ." I ask still fighting the urge to cry
" Sorry, but he was lying to you! I'm actually surprised he didn't tell you this it usually gets him major bonus points." He says dragging off into his own conversation
" Didn't tell me what?!" I say getting a little angry.
"He's the son of the owner of this whole resort! His dad is like a multi-millionaire and Tyler comes here all the time to visit him!" He says with awe. I just sink in my chair. How could I get myself into this situation the first day! I thought we hit it off!
" Umm hey guys I'm going to go back to the hotel room; I wouldn't want my parents to worry about us!" I lie and Kiera looks like she is going to come too, but I tell her to stay. At least she could end up with a good guy during this trip, I'm stuck with a player and Lier.
I walk back home to the resort room slowly.
" Hey honey how was the pool?" My mom asks opening the door for me.
" It was really fun." I say remembering Tyler again.
"That's good umm where's Kiera?" My mom asks as the protective side of he comes out.
" Oh she's at the cafe with some guy she met." I say and my mom just wiggles her eyebrows.
" ohh la la!" She says
" Mom stop your embarrassing me!" I say and head into my own separate room.
Before I know it Kiera walks in with a giant grin on her face.
" Ryan is so amazing and funny Camryn!" She says blushing which makes me laugh.
" Aww well you have to tell me all about it!" I say even though inside I really don't want to talk about guys for the rest of the trip.
She tells me how he kept complimenting her and at the end opened the door for her inviting her to lunch the next day! Oh no that reminds me that I said yes to going to breakfast with Mr.millionaire. I decided I'll just go on a run early, so then he can never meet me to go to breakfast. The rest of the day consists of going to the pool and Kiera talking about Ryan a lot! I'm just making sure the rest of the trip I stay far away from Mr.millionaire.

Beep! Beep! Beep! My phone alarm buzzes at 7 o'clock in the morning waking me straight up! I push Kiera in the shoulder to wake her up, but she doesn't budge.
" Hey Kiera, are you still going running with me?" I ask almost in a whisper .
" Umm probably not..." She says falling back asleep. Yep she wasn't going!
I put on my camouflage nike pro and matching sport bra quickly trying to beat Tyler out there, so I can avoid him.
I slip on my watch and quietly step into my parents room.
"Hey mom, I'm going on my run." I whisper into the room. No one responds, so I just end up leaving .
Ok let's see, I have my watch, ear phones, and my phone this time, just in case it comes in handy. I think I'm all set I tell myself as I head out the door. I'm going to take the same 4 mile path as yesterday, but I just started earlier this time. I do a couple stretches and head off in a nice easy jog. I just make it out of the resort when I start thinking about Tyler again which makes me increase my speed a lot. I'm up to a 7 mile minute pace when I decide I should probably turn back. So far no sign of Tyler yet which is right as planned. I make it to the gate in no time and go to pull out my room key. I usually keep my room key in my shorts or phone case, but it wasn't in either. I checked my shoe, but it wasn't there either. I go back to when I first started my run and I remember that I left it face down right on the counter. I was going to get it on my way out, but it slipped my mind. Maybe the security guard will recognize me and just let me through.
" Hi, I just went for a run out of the resort, but I left my resort room key on the kitchen counter." I say staring at the muscular guy in front of me giving me a cold glare.
" I'm sorry there's nothing I can do miss. No pass no entry!" He says and shoos me away from the window as a car pulls up.
I walk to the sidewalk and immediately take out my phone dialing Kiera's number.
" Hi this is Kiera, sorry I can't come to the phone right now leave a message after..." But I just shut it off.
I have one more chance to get ahold of someone and that is my mom. I dial her number quickly and put the phone to my ear.
" Ring, Ring, ring.... Hi this is Carrie Matthews, sorry I can't come to the phone right now leave a message after the tone" my moms voicemail plays, but I give the message a shot since it was my only option.
" Hi mom, this is Camryn and I forgot my resort pass on the counter, so I'm stuck outside of the resort. Call me back soon please!" I say urgently and plop down on the sidewalk. It looks like I'll be staying here for a while, but it was a nice day out so it shouldn't be that bad.
It's been ten minutes and I'm sweating more than on my run and am getting a little impatient!!
" Ughh why did you forget the room key Camryn cmon!" I say to myself, but someone else heard because they started laughing.
