Bad Back (Harry Centric)

A/N This story got deleted so i've had to write it again. This was requested by xoxojanineoxox and i really enjoyed this prompt because I have back pain myself so to put in on paper to my readers is amazing! Before I knew that you wanted it to be a Narry I already made it Narry (that was before it got deleted). Hope you like it.

Can I also request a Liam prompt? Got a few to do but only one for him and I only have one in here and more for the others which is quite unfair.

Harry POV

We are currently performing OTRA in Belfast and if I'm honest my back is killing me. I went to the doctors a couple of weeks ago and he gave me medicine but I don't think it's working. If I tell any of the other lads then we are going to have to cancel the rest of tour and we are going on a break soon so it will wait till then. We have already had Niall's knee operation to worry about last year in the band and I don't need the boys to fuss over some stupid back pain. Louis and Liam are bound to have one of their known water fights soon so I make my way down to where Niall is. What the fans don't know is that we're dating and so are Louis and Liam but management are homophobic so we can't tell all the fans. Another reason I won't tell the lads about my back is because Niall would worry. He already feels like the baby of the band and I don't want to worry him any more. Niall looks over at me and asks me whether I'm alright. I nod my head. He doesn't look like he believes me but I'll convince him afterwards.

Niall POV

I look over at Harry and he looks like he's in real pain. I can't go over to him and give him a cuddle and ask him what's wrong but I'll have to have that discussion after the show. I hear the audience laughing and I see that Louis and Liam are having a lilo water fight. I go and collect my guitar for  the next song. We are close to the end of the concert now so not long until I find out what's wrong. I look over and see Harry walking towards centre stage but the water is still there making it dangerous.

"HARRY" I yell seeing what was about to happen. But it's too late, Harry's foot slips and he lands straight on his back. The audience goes quiet. I run towards him waiting for him to get up but he doesn't.  When I kneel beside him he looks up at me with a guilty face.

"Harry where does it hurt?"

"Back...Ni...can't move.." He says gritting his teeth. I can tell from his eyes that this is bad pain.

"Do you think you can walk Harry?"  I get a shrug in response, immediately getting a groan from Harry.

Liam and Louis have come over now. They are trying to calm the crowd but however hard they are trying their cries are too loud. I ask Liam to pass me his microphone (I left mine somewhere).

"QUIET!! Everyone, Harry will be ok but he has hurt his back so he will need to rest to help it recover. There's no need to worry." I say, there are lots of screams of 'get well soon Harry' echoing around the arena.  

"Niall what do you want us to do?" Liam asks.

"Could you carry Harry off please and put him on the couch in the dressing room" I ask receiving nods from the pair. I follow behind them, telling them not to jolt him at all. Finally we get the skinny 6"1 boy onto the sofa. Paul come in and asks whether we need to paramedics. I ask for him to wait until I know more.

"Harry how bad is the pain on a scale of 1-10? Be honest with me because we need to help you."

He gives me a pained look. I raise my eyebrows. He knows that he can't fake anything now.

"About an 8...please do something Niall." My heart is breaking right now but I have to stay strong for him. I nod at Paul to get the medics. Harry cries into my shoulder, my shirt is soaked but I don't care. I would do anything for Harry and this is nothing in comparison. The medics arrive quickly and I feel Liam's arms pulling me back. He pulls me into his shoulder and then I turn back to Harry. They are causing even more pain. Liam puts a firm and reassuring grip onto my shoulder.
