A Day To Remember (Magcon Boys)

Chapter 12

*Sam's POV* 

I got off my bed and decided to get dressed. It was now 10 so I had a few hours until the second day of Magcon. I threw on a short sleeved navy shirt that said Los Angeles on it and a pair of jeans. I slipped on my all black converse and headed out to get breakfast. I decided to go to the Starbucks next to the hotel. I spotted Carter and Taylor so I went up to them. "Hey guys!"

They didn't respond. 

"Hello?"

"Did I do something wrong?"

Taylor turned around and said, "You hurt Matt." 

Well shit.

"What do you mean?"

Carter snorted, "We know you hooked up with Aaron."

"What?! No! He just kissed me! Who told you we hooked up?"

"Matt." 

I stormed off. Why would Matt make up a lie like that? 

I went up to Matt's room and knocked on the door. 

He opened and said, "Oh hi."

I pushed past him and sat on the bed. I patted the spot next to me, "We need to talk."

He came and sat down next to me.

Before I could speak he said, "I know that Aaron kissed you."

"Y-You do?"

"Yeah, he told me."

"Then why did you feel the need to tell everyone that we hooked up?"

"I-I don't know. I was jealous I guess."

"Jealous of what?"

"You two. You both obviously really like each other. Sam, I know you like him more than me."

I was at a loss of words. 

"Matt. I'm so sorry. I still like you, but I just liked Aaron first. This is all very confusing for me." 

He brought me into him.

"I know and it's my fault." 

"No it isn't. It's mine. It was a stupid idea to kiss you and convince myself I felt nothing. But I did." 

He looked up at me. "You did?"

"Of course I did. But liking two guys is hard. I really don't know what to do."

"I don't know either Sam." 

We were just looking at each other and we both started cracking up.

"What was so funny?"

"I don't know!" Matt yelled. 

I laughed and turned over, "Matt?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you promise me that whatever happens, we will stay best friends?"

"I promise." 

We linked our pinkies and kissed our hands to seal the promise. 

"Let's go get Starbucks I'm starving!"

"You are such a white girl."

I shoved him and he pushed me back, I started to fall backwards and he caught me just as I was about to hit the ground. We were staring into each other's eyes and he leaned in.

I leaned in too and our lips collided. He brought me up so we were level with each other, without breaking the kiss. I put my arms around his neck and he brought his hands up to my face, cupping my cheek. We broke away after another minute, breathing heavily. He smiled widely at me. I grinned. 

I grabbed his hand and dragged him to the elevator. He intertwined our hands as we walked out of the hotel, I looked down and smiled. We made it to Starbuck and I ordered a tall Chai tea latte and a blueberry muffin. Matt didn't get anything. We sat down and just talked for about 30 minutes. We headed back to the hotel and went back to my room, I was getting the key and Aaron strolled past.  There was hurt in his eyes but he plastered on a fake smile on kept walking. It hurt me that I was hurting him. 

I sucked in a breath and opened the door.
