A Day To Remember (Magcon Boys)

Chapter 17

*Sam's POV*

I hadn't slept a wink last night, all of the messages kept flashing in my head and I couldn't let myself relax. I woke up to a knocking on the door. I rubbed my eyes and stretched before opening it to reveal Aaron. 

"Um hi."

"Good morning Sam."

He seemed a little off.

I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around him, he stiffened but hugged me back.

"What's wrong Aaron?"

"We're leaving tomorrow, remember?"

I pulled back, suddenly remembering that Magcon didn't last forever and that Aaron would be leaving me soon.

Tears pricked my eyes, "I can't be here without you."

He looked down at me with a sad smile, "Of course you can. And we can Facetime and Skype and all that."

I nodded and snuggled into his chest.

"Anyway, today I am taking you on a date."

"A date?"

"Yup." 

I smiled so big, I mean I hadn't been on a date before.

I jumped into Aaron's arms and wrapped my arms around his neck.

I looked down at him and pecked his lips.

"Where are we going?"

"That's a surprise."

I giggled and kissed him again.

He put me down and said, "Be ready by 12."

He walked out and I got ready.

I put on a pair of black leggings, a long sleeved pale blue shirt, and my all black Converse.

I went to Starbucks for a quick breakfast and came back to the hotel and did my hair and makeup.

By the time that was done, it was 11:15. 

I decided to go on Twitter and tweet a pic from Magcon. I tweeted one of Aaron and I, with me on his back, with the caption "Love him." I got some favorites, but after a few minutes my mentions exploded. Aaron replied and retweeted my tweet. He replied saying, "Love you more" and a kissy face. I had gotten more followers because Aaron always favorited my tweets but now I had gained so many so quickly. A lot of fans were replying with questions about us dating and stuff. Most were sweet, saying they shipped us, but some were mean. I checked my profile to see I now had 18k, sweet. I just played on my phone for a little and then grabbed a bag and put essentials in it. I walked down to the lobby and got there exactly at 12. Someone grabbed me causing me to jump and scream. I smacked Aaron on the shoulder, "That wasn't funny." 

"Yes it was."

"Stop."

"Anything for you." 

Butterflies erupted in my stomach and I blushed.

Aaron grabbed my hands and intertwined them with his.

I looked down and smiled.

We walked outside and Aaron led me to Times Square.

"First we are doing something I've always wanted to do."

"What?"

"Kiss someone in the middle of Times Square." 

I blushed and looked down. Aaron picked my chin up and leaned in to kiss me. Our lips met and I brought my hands around his neck. He caressed my cheek and smiled against my lips. I smiled too. He broke the kiss and I just hugged him after that. He smiled at me and said, "Next stop."

Aaron got a cab and insisted that I closed my eyes. He helped me out of the car after a short drive and told me to open my eyes.

We were at Max Brenner's, only my favorite restaurant in the city.

"How did you know-"

Aaron cut me off, "I just know."

My heart warmed and I stood on my tiptoes to kiss him on the cheek. 

We got a little table upstairs by the window. It was really nice. We both ordered burgers and for dessert we got nutella pizza and a chocolate syringe. Aaron took a picture of the desserts and put it on Instagram with the caption "yummy" and tagged me. Instantly he got likes and many comments asking if we were dating. I suddenly wondered about the fandom accepting me.

"Hey Aaron?"

"Yeah?"

"When are you gonna tell the fans about us?"

He stared back at me, "I don't know." 

He reached out and took a hold of my hand, "But when I do, they'll love you."

I smiled.

After we stuffed ourselves, Aaron payed.

"Alright, last stop of the day."

Aaron intertwined our hands and got a cab. After ten minutes, we ended up at the Empire State Building. 

I gasped at it's height. 

Aaron chuckled. 

He led me all the way to the top floor and onto the deck. The city looked breathtaking. Times Square was lit up and the sun was setting. 

"It's so beautiful."

"Not as beautiful as you." Aaron replied. 

I blushed. 

I had someone take a picture of Aaron and I with the city in the background. I set it as my lockscreen and posted it to Instagram with the caption, "City with Aaron" and a heart emoji.

I looked up at him and smiled, "This day has been incredible Aaron."

"I know how to make it better."

"How?"

He leaned and kissed me, bringing his hands to my waist. I ran my fingers through his hair as our lips moved in harmony. His tongue slid over my bottom lip but I ended the kiss because we were in public.

"Sam, will you be my girlfriend?"
