Hadrian And Ariana

Chapter 3

A/n - This chapter is rushed so we can go to the first day of School.

Ariana

After we Gringotts that day, I took Hadrian to Potter Manor. I introduced him to all the house elves. Then we went for the house tour.

"Now follow me. First stop, first floor. Obviously this is the living room. Quite nice, don't you think?" He was looking at the walls. "Oh and one second...MARTY WAKE UPPPPP!" The only talking painting woke and said "Oh, you're back Ari!" I rolled my eyes. "Harry, this is Marty  Avalon Potter, our too many greats to say grandfather." Marty did a mock bow and said "Nice to finally meet you, Hadrian." I moved along and said goodbye to Marty. Next was the dining hall. It was also used for balls or parties back when our grandfather was a child. "This place is huge!" I nodded. "Yes, perfect place for parties, according to everyone in the Gallery, but that comes later. Come, one of my favorite rooms is next." I took him to trophy room. He found them interesting at least. As I went through each room, the Library was the next big one. That was the first room we went to on the second floor. "I come here for my homeschooling. I also enjoy the useful information for special potions and a few other things. There's also a section on muggle literature." As we went on, we spent the most time in the library. Then we were called to lunch. It was quick because I had to show him his room. "...and this is your room." He looked fascinated by everything. I didn't understand why, it was pretty bare. He will eventually decorate it with things he enjoys. It was a simple wall that he can change the color of, the ceiling looks like the night sky everyday, there's dark oak wooden dresser with special designs on it, a walk in closet, and a huge window with silvery curtains. He put his trunk down and made it big again. I then pointed to the door across from his room. "This room is mine, no need to venture in. Next would be another bathroom. After that is the potions lab and right across is where the elves sleep. Now next my personal favorite, the Gallery. Just up the stairs." We go up the ebony stairs and see the Gallery. I heard several hellos to Hadrian. "And this is where everyone in the family is immortalized on a wall. Normally it's at age 20 or after you're married." Then I heard our great grandmother speak up. "So the other one finally sees his home." She taught me pureblood etiquette. This woman is so scary, her portrait can use magic. "Oh, and there's someone you must meet, even though they're a painting. This way." I led him to our parents' portrait.

After that we all spoke and Hadrian went through some pureblood etiquette. Now we were talking over it and I decided I'd go to Hogwarts this year. I owled the school earlier today.

"How was your lessons with Gran going?" Hadrian lowered his head "Painful." I giggle. "Hey, we still have to go to Sirius's trial today. Remember,  tell him you've been living here. I'm sure he'd like to see the place again, father says he and Sirius were always planning pranks here with Moony and Wormtail." I was excited. Although, I wonder why Remus never came to raise me? I mean...he's my godfather and Aerona was missing. Why?

After Hadrian was ready we went to the trial. "Harry and Ariana Potter, presume?" Said a man. Harry handled this quite well. We went to the court room and we sat down. We waited for the room to fill. Hadrian recognized a man as Moony, saying he taught DADA last year. Moony, who was seated beside Hadrian, seemed anxious. Are they mates or something?

He turned and saw me which surprised him. Probably due to how much I look like my mother. Hadrian explained that we both went into creature inheritance some weeks prior. That's how we learned the other's existence. Moony said he thought I went missing with Aerona and told him how Dumbledore stepped in as my legal guardian and how I lived in Potter manor most of my life. He was shocked. He was supposed to be my magical guardian.
