The darkness hits me in waves
It's simply her I crave
And I don't want just a taste
Because she can't be replaced
She reminds me of a band aid
At first she eased the pain keeping me dismayed
But when she left it was fast but full of pain
And it left tears in my eyes
So now I listen to others lies
My face is a mask
But it's full of cracks
When I say okay it seems to come out broken
And softly spoken
