My Answer: I have many thoughts of the Bible but the most popular words to describe it is the Word of God.
The reason people may call the Bible the Word of God is because it's God's word that he has taught his people in order for them to write in this whole book.
Sometimes the way I see the Bible is The Book of Books. So we all know there's 66 books in the Bible. Right? Each in if those books have a individual purpose in our lives which in away also makes the Bible sound like the Book of Purposes.
Others may say that the Bible is a love letter from God because he mentions how much he loves us.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. ~John 3:16
Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed for his compassion never fails ~Lamentations 3:22
Also another way to describe the Bible is the Book of Testimonies as a result in parts of the Bible it goes through people's journey with God which can be told as a story or testimony.
A few months ago I found my dad's Bible, that he used to read to me before I went to bed, so I read through some of his notes that he wrote next to verses in the Bible and I just loved the fact that he really thought about the verses in the Bible and what it is to him. Also along with his is Bible was a notepad and I found more of his writing there was points were I could just about read his handwriting but it was quite clear and I just found it amazing how he studied the Bible. Furthermore as a looked through his Bible I got to learn more about him like when he got baptised (19/4/87-Easter Sunday).
This was the first verse that he wrote in his Bible: Proverbs 3:5-6.
