What are your thoughts on the four gospels?
How different to you think they are by the way they tell the same stories but in a different way?
My Answer:
So to start of with I just want to say that the gospels aren't just the four gospels but they are the gospels of Jesus Christ as a result they show his journey with healing and miracles. From beginning to the end.
They all may tell the same story but it depends on the way they say it.
So in Matthew 1 it talks about the genealogy of Jesus Christ (Jesus' ancestors) and how Joseph excepts Mary as her wife and Jesus as his son.
Whereas in Mark 1 is starts off with John the Baptist instead of going straight to Jesus' Birth.
In Luke 1 it starts off with a introduction and the foretelling of John the Baptists birth and Jesus' birth. Then Mary visits Martha and later on John the Baptist is born.
However in John 1 is says about the word becoming flesh and then it goes straight to when John the Baptist and Jesus is grown up. As a result John was preaching about Jesus and the fact that he denies that he was the Messiah.
