Sean had to break me and Norman apart before we went too far. Yes, Sean. Him and Norman never split up, and he was the second hostage. I couldn't fathom into words how happy I was to see both of them.
Me and Norman are snuggled so close that it would be scientifically impossible for us to get any closer. We are balled up in the back corner of the train, holding hands, and overlapping our legs. He's telling me ridiculous stories of him on the road, thinking of what I might've been doing at that same time. He says he thought I was at the group's base that raided our old camp. I tell him that I thought he and Sean had given up hope of finding me, just like I'd given hope of ever even seeing them again.
We've caught up, and he asks me why I changed my name.
"I don't really know. Maybe it brought back too many memories. Or maybe I was scared to say it."
Norman seems to think about what I said, and then sighs. "God, I really cannot believe I found you."
"Neither can I, blah, blah, blah. Now can you guys PLEASE go to sleep!? It's like four in the morning!" Sean whines, holding a bag over his eyes and ears.
Norman shakes his head and chuckles, "Fine." he looks down at me.
His eyes refresh me. Gazing into mine, I get a rush of warmth and can't look away. The way the moonlight glints off of them, I don't know how I survived the past year without seeing them. Goosebumps rise up on my arms and I find myself grinning like an idiot.
He doesn't say goodnight. He just plants his lips onto mine and then pulls away ever so slightly.
"See you tomorrow." he smiles.
I bury my head into his chest and try to stop smiling even though there's no reason to.
"I love you." I whisper, closing my eyes. He echoes me and we both drift off to sleep in a heap of brilliant happiness.
(A/N: I really felt like I should update today, but I didn't feel the need to write a whole chapter. Thus, I made a bonus chapter! Hope you liked! XOXO) -Writingslayer
