"Help me move this couch to the other side of the living room please" my mom said as I walked in. I nodded and picked up one side of the couch. While carrying it I thought of Tyler. He seems so shy. Like super shy. Not to mention the bruise by his mouth. How the blueish purple mass really stood out on his glass skin. And the way he smiled when I said buddie. He'll get comfortable around me. I'll make sure of it.

"JOSH! put it down." my mother snapped me out of my concentration. I looked over to her and then down at my hands. They were still holding the couch up. I smiled and put my end down. She shook her head and left the room mumbling somthing about ''she raised an idiot''.

I looked around the house, we were almost done unpacking. All we had left to do was the rest of the kitchen, my mom's office, and my room. In about 30 minutes I finished unpacking the rest of the kitchen stuff. Unpacking this kitchen really got me in the mood. Hey, wait a sec! My mom said I can relax for the day. Welp guess I should finish what I started. I ran up to my room and shut the door. Everything I need is already in here, good.

I put my bed in the corner by my door. Then the dresser on the other wall by the door. I decided to put my drumset in the back and my TV right across from my bed. I set up my PS4 and Nintendo64 on the TV stand. There was another door in my room, I'm guessing it's the closet. I opened it and walked in. It was a surprisingly spacious closet. I could literally do jumping jacks in here. I decided to finish unpacking, it took me roughly an hour or two.

It was only 6:00 but it was dark outside, well duh it's fall. Anyways my stomach was growling. Man was I hungry! I went downstairs and checked the kitchen for something good to eat. There was nothing but snacks and fruits. I sighed and closed the fridge door.

"You hungry too, huh" my mom's voice startled me. I turned to see my mom leaning against the kitchen doorway. I nodded. "Well here, there is a pizza store and a corner store right down the street. Order a large cheese pie with frenchfries for me and onion rings for you." she dug in her pocket and pulled out her debit card. "And I want you to get some drinks from the corner store, got it." she said handing me the card. I nodded and smiled.

Before I went I changed into a 1975 T-shirt, jacket, black skinny jeans, red vans and a grey beanie. As I walked out the house I popped in my earbuds and started to listen to Young and Beautiful by Lana del Rey. I felt the chill of the autum air against my back, it made me shiver. I walked down the street not really knowing which direction to go, but hoping I end up where I need to be. So this is what New Jersey is like. A couple cars passed by me. So did a couple cats. There were cracks in the sidewalk, like a beautiful overview a bunch of valleys. Within these cracks embedded grass and flowers but then again some were bare. It's like where I came from. Where I came from without what I did.

Eventually I was coming up to a sign glowing that said " Soprano's Pizza". When I walked in I was hit by the scent of some good pizza. I walked up to the counter and there stood a guy with a muscular build and hands the size of cars. An older man behind him cleared his throat which made the boy sigh.

"Hello my name is Kevin, may I take your order?" He asked in monotone. I looked over at the man as he shook his head and went into the back. I placed my order and went to the corner store as I waited.

The corner store was right next to Sopranos and it was called, Goodies. I entered Goodies and heard a little jingle of a bell. It was the door. It was a small store. Just a rack in the middle and a rack on the wall next to the drink cases. The racks were riddled with snacks and such. I went over to the drink cases and started to look. The rootbeer looks good but I'm not in the mood for it. Maybe Sprite, no Lemon Tea? In the midst of my thoughts I heard the bell jingle again. I didn't pay much attention to it though. I can hear some shuffling behind me. Then right next to me. A strong scent of alcohol reached my nose. A drunk person in a corner store huh. I decided to mind my own buisness but then I heard a small laugh.

"Pink hair huh, what a fag." a deep voice said. I need to leave it alone, he's drunk. "You're going to hell boy." he said opening the fridge taking a beer. Me being me I couldn't keep my mouth shut.

"You smell like hell." I said. I turned to the man and the man turned to me. He was well built with a buzz cut, and he was wearing a dirty white shirt. I looked him up and down. "You look like hell too." I said cockily.

"Boy, you are a sinner just like my son of a bitch nephew, aint nothing but the devils child." he spat.

"What makes you say that?" I asked. Truly and honestly I'm confused. What did I do? Did I look at the sodas a wrong way?

"What did you do? Just look at your hair!" he exclaimed, spit flying on my face.

"What's wrong with my hair?" I asked wiping the spit off my face.

"IT'S PINK!" He laughed. He stumbled closer to me. His breath killing my nostrils. I sighed and turned away. The guy is drunk and his priorities arean't straight so I'm just wasting my time. I quickly picked out Pepsi and went up to the counter. I paid for it and walked out of the store. What a douche! I made my way to the pizza store picked up my order and went home.

At home I put the stuff on the table and got my food ready. My mom took her food and went to her room. So I did the same. Well I went to my room of course. I

ate on the balcony with my cat, the night was peaceful. Looking up you can see all the stars. Glistening in all of its glory. When I was done I just laid down to think. Outside it's a bit brisk. But I don't mind. The stars are looking pretty tonite. I cleared my head of everything. My breathing got even and comfortable. Breathing in the night air. Until I fell asleep. Breathing in the stars.
