Chapter 3

The next morning I got up early. I am currently in the bathroom, just took a shower, looking at myself. I have a bruise on my cheek and on my stomach. I try to cover up with make up but you can still see it. Hopefully no one sees it when I go to school, the last thing I need is attention to myself. I get out of the bathroom and go to my closet to pick out something to wear. I end up taking out some black leggings with a gray shirt and I paired it with some black combat boots. I grab my bag and I quietly go down the stairs, into the living room and out the door.

When I go to school I went straight to Jessica." WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO YOUR FACE!!" She yelled, examining my face." Shhhhh, my mom is what happened "I say trying to calm her voice so she won't make a scene." OMG tell me everything" she says pulling me towards the table we usually eat at. I told her everything and by the end of it I was pouring with tears. She hugs me and says soothing things in my ear.

Soon the bell rang and I hesitated whether I should go to class or skip, but Jessica said that if I didn't go to class she was going to beat me up, and Jessica might be small but she is tough. I walk into my class and sit in my regular spot and like always draw. Aiden sat down next to me." Hey!" He says. " hey" I say trying to not make eye contact because then he will see my bruise." How was your day?"he asked."good" I say." Why aren't you making eye contact with my? Are you mad at me?" He asks and do to reaction I turn to face him but by the time I tried to cover my bruise he had already saw it." What the hell happened to you? Who hit you? I swear who ever laid a hand on yo-" he was cut off by me crying." Hey it's ok. If you don't want me to do anything just tell me." He looked at me concerned." But you have to tell me who did this to you" he tells me sternly.

I look at him and all I see is pain and concern in his eyes." Who did this to you Christina?" He said and I was going to tell him but then I realized that if I tell him then I have to tell him my whole story, my past and I couldn't risk it. I couldn't take it no more so I got out of my seat and ran out the classroom door. I ran down the hall and into the girls bathroom and cried. I cried for what felt like hours. I stayed in the bathroom until lunch.

When lunch came I went to go get my bag and go to the cafeteria. When I got to the cafeteria, I got my food and sat next to Jessica. Jessica knew not to bother me and she didn't. Which I was grateful for. " hey Christina! Can we talk?" I turn around and see Aiden.great. We walked out of the cafeteria to talk." First off I am so sorry that I made you cry I feel horrible!"In his eyes you could tell he was sorry. "It wasn't your fault" I say looking at those beautiful eyes. He was going to say something but was cut off when Tiffany came.

Tiffany is the most popular girl in school and she is literally obsessed with Aiden. They were a couple before but Tiffany doesn't back off. Aiden has to literally push her off him.He hates her." Aiden what are you doing? You left us to talk to her?"She gives me a disgusted look." Tiffany leave me alone" he say annoyance in his voice. " come on you don't want to hang out with her" she say pulling his arm." Stop it Tiffany, I can do what I want when I want!" He say as he yanks his arm back." So your saying that you could do me if you wanted?" She says in a seductive way. I had enough, so I walked back in the cafeteria, got my stuff and went to the bathroom.

The rest of the day dragged, but it was eventually time to go home. Me and Jessica were walking to the front of the school when my arm was pulled back by the man that had beautiful eyes." hey umm I wanted to apologize and ask you when you wanted to do the assignment" I had completely forgotten about the assignment and it's due tomorrow." Umm actually can we go now if that's ok with you" I say. " umm yea, sure" he say." Ok" I turn around and look at Jessica who is on her phone." Hey Jess I need to go with Aiden to finish our assignment I'll call you later ok!" She looks up from her phone gives me a big hug." Ok I'll see you tomorrow" she say with a smirk. I just shake my head.

Me and Aiden spent almost all night doing our homework. We are currently having a break, eating some sandwiches. We were playing would you rather." Ok ok! Would you rather kiss a fish or kiss garbage?"He was thinking, but then he looked at me and stared into my eyes and for some reason I felt exposed." I would rather kiss you " he says in his huskily voice. I just laugh and turn red. He leaned in, giving me an option whether to move or not. I thought about how his lips would feel against mine. How our lips would move as one. How it would feel to have someone who actually cared about me....wait. Aiden Parker in love with me doesn't make sense. Aiden in the fuck boy of the school. Why would he all of a sudden change for me, unless he is using me just to get in my pants. The thoughts that ran through my head made me mad. I pulled away from Aiden before our lips could touch. I start packing my stuff to go home." Where are you going?" He asked confused." I'm going home and don't worry I'll walk home" I say frustrated with myself, and without letting him respond, I left his house.

10 minutes I arrived to my house. Mom wasn't home so I lazily walk up stairs and plop on my bed. I stare at the ceiling deep in thought.How could I have been so stupid as to fall for Aiden. I have fallen for Aiden Parker. Even if Aiden wasn't an womanizer , my life is not for him. I have an abusive mother, no father, no job.... it's just not a place for him. And even if I have nothing Aiden makes me feel as if I have anything. Like I have everything I could ever want.

Damn it Aiden what are you doing to me!
