Chapter 1

Me being Christina Gorge life is unfair. It's unpredictable and it is full of surprises. But most importantly it has mistakes and one mistake that I do not regret is  Aiden. Aiden has been there with me since the beginning and without him I probably would be dead but I'm getting ahead of myself let me tell you my story or in matter-of-fact OUR story.

The sunshine sneaks its way through my curtains and onto my face which causes me to squint. I look at the clock on my dresser...6:45. I groan and get out of bed or should I say rolled out of bed and headed to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I hop out of the shower and head to my closet and pick out a pair of black ripped pants and a white laced shirt and some knee high boots. I walk down stairs and find my mom sleeping on the couch and I quickly grab my backpack and run out the house before she wakes up and I start walking to school.

When I arrive I see my best friend she knows about my past and how my mom turned abusive and she is the one and only........Jessica! Jessica's like the opposite of me she is rich, has a huge mansion she's more on the popular side. She can find out about everything and anything.

"Hey" she say as her Face lights up when she sees me "hey" I say. "So guess what I found out today"she says that she wraps her arms around mine and walks me to my locker.

"What?!"I try to sound excited for her information but I usually don't care I try to stay away from the gossip and drama in the school. "so you remember that Parker boy from two years ago he was literally the baddest kid to school always got in trouble,got expelled!"she says that she lists of all of the things that kid did."yeah how could I forget he was literally is the baddest kid in the school it was kind a hard to ignore him"I say as I open my locker to get my books out for first block."well he's coming back for this year and I heard that he had a huge glow up and that he's super cute!"she says as she is daydreaming about how he would look.I have had a crush on Aiden since like freshman year but I'm totally over him now or at least I think I am. The bell rings for class to begin.

I walk into my first class .....math. I hate math so I usually draw.I walk to the far corner of the class and start drawing. 10 minutes into class the door of the class room opens and everyone's eyes were on the boy who walked in, except for mine I really don't care who came in it's probably not for me. I ignored it and kept drawing, but after a few minutes of the teacher talking and criticizing the person for being late I hear a bang right next to me which made me jump.

I look up to see who has startled me and the most beautiful pair of eyes I've seen were staring right at me they were a beautiful gray-ish color and it seemed as if I could get lost in them forever, but unfortunately those beautiful eyes belong to the one and only .......Aiden Parker!"hey, is this seat taken?!"I flinch at his deep husky voice."no it's not taken"I say very shakily.

I flinch most of the time when people talk to me except for Jessica it's mainly because my mom is abusive and so I always have bruises and scratches from all the times she's hit me. She's done this ever since my dad left ,sometimes she tells me that it was my fault that my dad left. The bell finally rang indicating class was over as I pick up my things and I drop one of my drawings on the floor. I went to go pick it up but Aiden beat me to it." Wow did you do that it's really nice!"he said as he admires my work." Thanks"I mumble . I grab my drawing and leave the classroom.

My other classes dragged along but finally my favorite class of the day came .......lunch!I considered lunch as a class don't judge I love food.Food is the only thing that hasn't disappointed me. I grab my tray ,pay for my food and I walk to the table that me and Jessica always sit.

"so I have Aiden and second period. How about you do you have him any periods!"she says that she eats her chicken sandwich."unfortunately yes I have him first period"I emphasize unfortunately, trying to sound happy and excited that I have Aiden in my first period class."wow you might have a chance with him I know you will!"I grown and continue eating my food I know I'm not able to have a chance with Aiden but honestly I don't even know if I want one. I have too many problems and I don't need him to be another one.

The rest of the day went pretty fast and finally it was time to go home or should I say my moms house .I don't really call her house my home I hardly ever want to go there. I plug in my earbuds and listen to Music .I decided to walk around the lake near my house before I go back to the house. The lake was beautiful it had swans swimming in it. It was very peaceful, it was where I went to clear my mind and get away from my life but unfortunately everything beautiful and calming has to come to an end. Right.As I walked back home I have this strange feeling that I was being followed and with my luck I was right. A man in his early 30s was following me. I heard him call me , trying to get my attention but I ignore him. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me into an alley. I tried to set myself free but he was too strong. He started touching me in places that I didn't like .I tried to yell but no one heard me until a car pulled over and someone came out of the car and of course with my luck it was the one and only......Aiden!!!
