Andrea walked out of school to the school parking lot to her sleek black motorbike. She had always wanted to have one but her father didn't allow until well recently.
He is more likely to be busy paying attention to his new girlfriend.
She thought and even thinking about that girl left a sour taste in her mouth.
She decided to go home late, nobody was going to be keeping incharge anyhow. She got on her bike and started raging on the road. She knew she was more or less driving above the speed if there was one for bikes. Not many people used bikes in her neighborhood or anywhere near.
After riding for a while and reaching the familiar deserted roads she took off her helmet and felt the cold air blowing through her hair. She always used to come here when ever she felt disturbed like the time her parents broke up.
Thinking about that time some memories flashed across her mind.
She had always been a rebel, stood out from other kids but her parents didnot mind much unless she decided to do something rash. They were pretty chill about it.
Or just never showed how they actually felt. They didn't even let her any clue that they weren't happy together so it came as a shock to her when they decided to break up.
She kept on riding losing track of time and place. She looked around and the familiar surrounding putted her in attentive state.
"No,no no......." She said in a small voice.
I am supposed to be here. I should have turned around like I planned.
She thought. It was the same place that haunts her in her sleep, crawls on her consciousness, hits her with guiltiness. No....she was supposed to forget about everything..... but why...........why is she still moving forward?
She parked the bike on the side of the road, she could have done it in the middle of the road no one was gonna come this way, anyhow.
With cautious steps, she walked towards the bridge. It got closer and closer. Putting her hands in front of her she caught the bridge's railing and looked below. It looked the same as it did before. Except there was a guy standing just below on the dry barren land. He looked young.
Blonde hair, blue shirt and black jeans. What is he doing here?
The boy started to look up and Andrea jumped 5 feet in the air and back landing gracely on her feet. Oomph She heard footsteps, he was running, but not towards her. She hurriedly got back on her feet and looked below and doubtlessly he was fleeing the scene but this time he was wearing a red cap. Red as blood. She gravely thought.
What was he looking for there? She decided to find out and finding a path next to the bridge she walked down. Standing under the bridge she saw nothing out of the ordinary. A dried off river, dirt, some shrubs, something shiny in them, some wilted trees, oh and the bridge above her. Rescanning her mental list, she stopped at the shiny thing part. She looked for it again and there it was in the twisted shrubs. Taking it out she examined it.
It looked like an I.d card of our school. She turned it around and looked at it with horror.
The place where the picture of the student is suppose to be was burned. The name was scratched out with no one written on top of it.
Name: No one.
Age: 17
Grade: senior year. What was this suppose to mean.
What if somebody was already threatening her. Maybe he pulled off other stunts like this. But why didn't she tell anyone? Andrea thought.
Is it wrong that we are not telling anyone that we know all this. What if he goes around hurting others? How many has he already hurt? A lot, her consciousness thought.
Too many thoughts ran through her mind. Thoughts she had no control over. Another thought ran through her mind. The time when her mother told her she was leaving and she just stood there, too numb to do anything. Too scared to go after her. And to this day she regrets it. Not knowing anything what went down. Is she going to let the same thing happen again?
No, I'm going to get to the bottom of this. I'm going to figure everything out.
This time I'm not gonna stand frozen and watch everything happen and not know anything. I have been pushed too far in.But what was she supposed to do? She had no other clue just a piece of useless I'd card which could far not be recognized in itself.
She turned around, got on her bike and rode back home. Unlocking the front door by the spare key her family had decided to keep under the flower pot. She went in and climbed up the stairs reaching her room. She closed the doors behind her and sat on her bed with her laptop.
Turning it on she went straight to the school's homepage.
On the side there was a icon which led to school's students registry. There were 3,567 students profile linked in.
What was that girl's name?
I know this. She thought to herself and looked through her mental diary to find a name to that face. But came up with just one letter "I".
Why can't I remember her name? Because nobody talked about her or to her. She was almost all the time alone. i remember her sitting next to me for almost an year but I can't remember talking to her ever. That's so weird.
She typed the letter I in the search box and got 277 results. The girl could could be any of these.
