The bell rang for lunch and we all filed out of the classes rushing to get to the cafeteria. We all struggled to carry our books and pounds of homework in our bags. College is hard.
I reached the cafeteria and was met with a bone-crushing hug from my best friend the one and only Alina. My best friend since I don't know when. Next, Mariam came and literally jumped on us. We all let out a huge groan causing stares.
"Safaa!!! We missed you sooo much!!", Alina exaggerated.
"Oh come on, I just went to my aunt's for the weekend, it's no biggie", I said.
"Yes but two days was like... two years and you know the boys were so annoying and the kids... oh my
gosh the kids they-", she rambled on until Sameed cut her off."Alina, give them a break, they must be hungry as well", he commented. She glared at him and punched him on his shoulder.
Mariam and I took this as a chance to get our food.
Once we all sat at our table Sameed came back and sat down with us. We stared at him and glared but all of his focus was on his lovely food. He stuffed it into his big mouth without a care for the world.
"Can you stop stuffing your face with food?", I asked disgusted.
"No", he mumbled his mouth full of food.
"Hey guys!", I heard an annoying voice from behind me and I instantly recognized it. I let out an annoyed groan because two of the most annoying people in the world were in the same room as me.
"What's wrong? Do you need the toilet?", asked Ayaan. I scowled at his stupid face.
"Shut up Ayaan", I groaned. Everyone chuckled at I don't know what.
Ayaan's parents were very good friends of my parents since very long so we've known each other since childhood. We always disliked each other for some reason. Sameed, my twin brother and him are the best of friends and it's so annoying because he comes over so much.
"Oh Hey, Zubair", Sameed said now more clearly, because he'd finally swallowed his food.
"Hi Sameed", said the boy standing next to Ayaan. He had dark hair and dark eyes with a stunning face structure. He looked very cheerful.
"Guys, this is Zubair, he's new here and I met him in Economics", said Sameed eating a french fry.
"Hi Zubair", everyone said.
"Hi, can I take a seat?", he asked me and I nodded. He sat beside me, safely keeping a distance.
"Zubair, this is Alina, Mariam and that's Safaa, my twin sister, and of course you already know Ayaan", Sameed introduced us all.
We all sat and ate our lunch cracking jokes and telling stories until the bell rang and we went to our classes. I walked to my next class and Ayaan was following me. Why is he so annoying? When I reached the classroom door he was still behind me and I couldn't take it anymore.
"Why are you following me?", I fumed, crossing my arms across my chest.
"Because Your Personal slave wants to bow down to your feet", he said and I stared at him coldly.
"Stop following me okay!", I yelled as I entered the class and so did he.
"I'm not Safaa, this is my class", he said and left for his seat. My cheeks turned pink due to embarrassment and he noticed so he smirked a stupid smirk. I stormed to my seat and quietly sat down waiting for the teacher to come.
