Chapter 31

Jade's P.O.V

After a shower, I changed into a fuzzy oversized baby blue sweater, black skinny jeans and combat boots. I was towel drying my hair until Copeland began to cry. I hurried into my room and picked her up from the bed. "Shh, shh, it's okay" I told her while bouncing her a bit. "Are you hungry?" She nodded in response, so I walked down the stairs to the kitchen. I made her a bottle and handed it to her. "Phew" I said, proud of myself for not waking up the guys.

I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder causing me to jump. I turn to see Jinxx. "Don't ever do that again" I told him, placing my hand over my heart to see if it was still beating. "Sorry sis" he said, patting my shoulder. "It's okay" I placed Copeland on the floor and she walked to her toys and plopped down on her butt. "What'cha gonna do today?" Jinxx asked, drinking a glass of milk afterwards. I tapped my finger on my chin. An idea popped in my head "Me and Copeland are gonna go shopping"

"Really?"

"Yes"

"Copeland, wanna go shopping?" I kneel in front of her and she looked up at me. "Yes!" she squealed and clapped her hands. "Good" I stood up and turned when I heard more footsteps. The rest of the guys were walking down the stairs. "What are we gonna do today?" CC asked as they ate breakfast. "Well me and Copeland are going shopping" I tell them. "Can I come?" Andy asked and I nodded. "Let's go!"

As Copeland sits in the cart I hand her my phone so she can play on it as I look around. I looked through the racks and saw a black dress with a white collar. "Copeland" she looked up from the phone. "Do you like this one?" She nodded and I placed the dress in the cart. "Babe! Look!" Andy ran up to me holding a baby leather jacket and on the back the word REBEL was written on it. "Aww it's so cute!"

"Copeland, do you like it?" Andy asked her showing her the jacket. "Yes!" Andy handed her the jacket and she started to look at it. We got some more clothes and headed to the register. She ringed up the items and the total was $60. After we left we headed to the park so she could play.

"Swing!" I followed her to the swings. I picked her up and put her in the baby swing. I went around and gave her a big push. "Weeee!" She squealed and was sitting on the other swings, watching me and Copeland. "I never knew you could be so good with kids"

"Is that a compliment?"

"Indeed it is" he said with a cheeky smile. "Well then thank you" I returned the smile. I slowed the swing down and helped her get out. She ran over to the sandbox and began to play in that while me and Andy sat on the bench beside it. Copeland was digging in the sand then filled a bucket. I sighed when she dumped the sand on her. Andy was holding in a laugh. "Andy I'll be right back" I told him and went to the car to get my phone. I look at my messages and then look up for one second to see Andy holding a muddy Copeland in his hands. I placed my hand on my forehead and sighed. "I was tying my shoe and I look up to see her in a mud puddle" Andy explained and I just took her out of his arms and in the car.

When we made it home all the guys looked at us and gaped. "What happened?" Jake asked and I pointed to Andy. "I'm gonna give her a bath now" I said and walked to the bathroom. Andy walked in as I was undressing her. "Hey, need any help?"

"Yeah, can you put these in the washer and dryer?"

"Sure" I handed him the clothes and then placed Copeland in the warm bath full of bubbles. "Oh and Kellin will be here and eight to pick her up"

"So in about an hour?"

"Yep" he nodded and then left to go clean her clothes. She played with her bath toys and the bubbles as I wash her. I poured a small amount of shampoo in my hand and began to wash her hair. I then rinsed her hair and dried her off. I dressed her in her pajamas then we sat on the couch and watched TV till Kellin came.

"Hey Kellin" he hugged me, "Hi Jade, where's my Copeland?" I pointed to the couch where she was sitting, zombied by the TV. Kellin walked in front of her, making her look up "Daddy!" He chuckled and picked her up, placing her on his hip. I picked up the baby bag and walked to Kellin's car. I sat the bag beside Copeland's car seat. He buckled her in then shut the door. "Thanks again Jade" he said giving me a hug. "No problem, I love having her around"

He did a small laugh "Well I gotta get her home because it's past her bedtime"

"Okay, bye"

"Bye" he got in his car and drove off. I walked back inside and headed straight to my room to go to bed.
