"Would you mind explaining to me what happened." Says my mom angrily I'm guessing she probably left work to come here.
"I went to attempt a trick on the halfpipe and I..." I don't get a chance to finish my sentence because my mom inturupts me.
"Not that!" She shouts sharply. "You and Kyle just now since when?!?! you told me you guys are just friends. You told me you didn't want a boyfriend because you didn't have time because you have to look after Margaret! How long has this been going on?!"
"Mom I swear that was the first time that has happend he asked me to the dance today after I got beat up. I'm just tring to have the slightest sliver of a life!" I scream back tears threatening to spring from my eyes.
"You got beat up today! What did you do?!"
"I said something I shouldn't have it doesn't matter. Its done with for now." I say smoke steams out of my ears but tears spill out of my eyes like waterfalls.
"Bethany..." My mom says. "I'm sorry...I know I'm hard on you and put a lot of pressure on you to look after Margaret because I work so much. I wish it was different but its not so I'm just trying to get us by." I figure now would be as good as a time as any to tell my mom about what I'm doing with dresses and stuff but before I can tell her she says something else that surprises me. "I know Kyle's a good kid Bethany but he's got a lot going on lately too from what his mom has told me."
"Wait what do you mean?" I ask not expecting what my mom just told me.
"He hasn't told you?" asks my mom sounding surprised. "Bethany I'm sorry I shouldn't tell you its not my story to tell... I'm sure he'll tell you when he's ready."
"Mom what's going on with him?" I ask whatever he's going through I don't want him to go through it alone.
"Bethany I don't think I have the right to tell you. I'm sorry" My mom says quietly." I should go back to work were gonna have to find some money for physiotherapy."
I see my window of opportunity to tell my mom what I'm doing. "Mom I've been meaning to tell you something. I bought a dress form a few days ago and I'm gonna try to make clothes to make some money to help out."
My mom looks shocked I knew she didn't expect it. "Bethany you really don't have to do that I'll make it work somehow, I'll find a way."
"No mom I want to besides I already have someone whose has asked me to make them a dress for theback to school dance."
"Bethany thats great." says my mom smiling."If you really want to do this fine but don't do it just to help me."
"Okay mom." I say give her a smile.
The doctor rushes in before my mom can leave saying I can leave the hospital. After she signs the papers the doctor quickly tells me how to pump up my air boot before throwing Kyle, Margaret, and I out the door.
"Well then, guess he wanted us gone." Says kyle he blushs as he looks at me. I just smirk at his cute blushing face. He stares down at my hand before intertwining his fingers with mine. Well so much for me not blushing. I can feel my face heat up with in seconds. Now he laughs at me.
"Why are your guys faces all red?" Asks Margaret giving us a questioning look.
Me and Kyle burst out laughing like maniac's, we are both bent over because we are laughing so hard, I almost fall over.
"What's so funny?" Giggles margaret.
We hear a loud honk from behind us. We all turn are heads simutaniously to see Skylar and her Tracker. Thank god we don't have to take a taxi some of those taxi guy's are kinda creepy.
Skylar asks me more than once on the drive to my apartment how I'm feeling. When we get to the building I hand Kyle the key and ask him to take Margaret to our apartment. Once they step out of the car skylar starts asking me questions.
"So what's going on with you guy's well I told you most of it before wewent to the skatepark but... at the hospital stuff kind of happended."
"Oooooooo what kind of stuff" asks Sky giddly.
I tell her what happened at the hospital from our kiss and how my mom intruded us to what Kyle said to me.
"Awwwwww that's so cute!" gush's Sky. "I wonder what's going on with him though? I mean what would he be so afraid to tell us especially you, I mean we're all friends."
"I don't know I've been trying to think of what it could be. I mean I'm guessing it's something going on at home but the only Idea I could come up with is that his parents are getting divorced. I mean maybe that's it but I feel like if it is there's gotta be more to it." I say.
"Ya I really don't know what to think. I should get going though." stated Sky.
"Are you sure you don't want to come in?"
"No its starting to get late and I have homework I'll see you at school tomorrow though?"
"Yep see you then. Bye." I jump out of her Tracker and walk into my apartment building and take the elevator up to my floor. I open the door to a surprising site I see Kyle standing by the stove cooking something that smells absolutely delicious, while Margaret sits at the table spinning a salad spinner. "Ummm hi? What are you making? It smells delicious." I inquire.
"Hey when me and Margaret came to grab some stuff earlier I noticed you didn't have to much food so I figured I'd get some food and make you a nice meal. I'm making some chicken stir-fry and Caesar salad " Smiles Kyle. "How's the salad coming Margaret?"
"Good! I think it's done."shouts Margaret as she stops spinning the salad spinner.
"Thanks." I say as I hobble over to beside Kyle, stand on my tip toes and give him a light peck on the cheek.
"No problem." he smirks and returns my kiss equally as light on my forhead.
"Ewwww BOY GERMS!" Screams Margaret.
"Yep" I laugh "And now I'm gonna get you." I tease as I chase her around the room. Once I stop chasing Margaret and finsh the salad and we all sit down and eat our delicious meal.
Afterwards I get Margaret ready for bed and Kyle does the dish's. Once we are finished we decide to watch a movie so I pull out the pull out couch so I can keep my leg upand grab a blanket. Kyle insists I choose the movie we don't have many in the end we decide to watch Irobot.
We half lay half sit up on the pull out couch in silence for a while as the movie starts to play. After a while Kyle slowly starts inching his way closer to me until he is right next to me. I let my head droop onto his sholder as I nuzzle closer to him and he wraps his arm around my waist. I then slowly drift off into sleep in a complete state of happiness.

AHHHHHHHHH sorry guys totally thought I posted this chapter like over a week ago so I'm really sorry about that! I hope you liked this chapter though, because I had a socials project due in two days when I wrote this and had to finish it in a day. It's a little bit of a filler chapter but whatever.
