Run Away

Ten Years Later

At age thirteen, Aurora was returned to her custody of the British Navy after the royal Navy caught Jack in Havana. He was sentenced to death by hanging but escaped and ran off to Tortuga. Her birth father governor Swann had died when she was eleven from a heart attack. Instead she was sent to live with Lord Beckett and his wife.  She was to live in riches but ran away day after day, desperately wanting to return to Jack Sparrow and the sea. She was told many time who her real parents were and that Jack was an evil man but she wouldn't hear it. She had the mark of a pirate, given to her of course by Jack Sparrow, and she truly was one. Her heart belonged to the sea. 

When Jack escaped from jail he tried to find Aurora but the Lord's house was heavily guarded and id he was caught he would never be able to escape again. One day he would reunite with her daughter. He has always told her that of they got separated, they could find each other on Tortuga. It had been ten years since his beloved was taken from him and he had been waiting for her on Tortuga ever since. He gave his ship to his old friend, Captain Barbossa. Under the third stick of the wheel, he carved Aurora name. Pirates code, she was the rightful owner of the ship. Whenever she came to claim it. 

One night, Aurora drugged the lord and lady and left the big house she had tried to run away from countless times. Thanks to a very loyal servant, there was a small but big enough to sail to Tortuga, ship in the port. Loaded with food, supplies and weapons. Aurora hurried into town and to the port. She ripped off her expensive gown and underneath she was dressed in a loose white shirt and some tight black pants, knee high boots and a pirates hat. She had given money to servants to buy the attire for her. Her plan took weeks to execute. Finally everything was in place. Even though it as night time, the square was busy and full of people. Aurora pushed through the crowd. She was close to the port and the last thing she needed was to be stopped and sent home. 

The port was dark and not as busy as the square. Her ship was a the end of the last dock. A small, ship, named the Dying gull. (I know!!! But I don't care) She climbed aboard and set sail. Sadly Jack never got a chance to give her his one and only compass so she had to use a map. But Aurora knew the seas. Finding Tortuga would be no issue for her.
