Not yet at Tortuga, Aurora spotted The Black Pearl in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. She let all sails loose and let off two cannons in hope to get the ships attention. Surely it stopped and turned around. Soon the two ships were side by side and Aurora boarded her beloved Black Pearl. She ran her hands on the railings and on the sides of the ship. She hadn't set foot on his ship in ten years.
Captain Barbossa went down to the deck to greet the visitor.
"What makes you think you can just board my ship without my permission!" he asks.
"Excuse me but this is my ship! And who are you?" she asked, pointing at a finger at the pirate she barely remembered.
"I am Captain Barbossa and The Black Pearl is my ship! Jack Sparrow left her to me!"
Left the ship to him? Was he dead? Aurora panicked.
"Jack Sparrow! Is he dead?" she asked. Barbossa laughed.
"Jack. Dead? Not a chance. You can't kill that bastard for nothing. He's cooped up on Tortuga awaiting the return of his daughter" Barbossa explained. Aurora felt like her heart was going to leap out of her chest!
"You know my father? You know Jack Sparrow! My father!" Barbossa's face fell.
"Jack Sparrow is your father?" he asked. Aurora nodded.
"You are Aurora Sparrow?" he asked again. Aurora nodded.
"In the flesh"
"Oh my god! Your father has been waiting for you for years! You don't remember me? Good old uncle Barbossa?" Aurora thought about it and then shook her head.
"I'm sorry" she said. Barbossa waved it off.
"It's no big deal. I only saw you a few times when you were real young, I didn't even recognize you! You're all grown up" Aurora smiled.
"Can you take me to Tortuga to see my father?" she asked.
"Well of course but you will have to climb back on that shit you call a ship and follow The Black Pearl. Jack would have wanted you to come on your own"
"When we dock in Tortuga and find Jack, will you give me back my ship?" Aurora asked.
"It's still MY ship love" Barbossa corrected her.
"We'll see about that"
