Your skin is like porcelain, pale and fragile, though your cheeks are flushed in the cold morning air. Freckles dot your cheeks like stars, forming unfathomable constellations across your face. You are small, much smaller than I am, and delicate. You'd protest that, I'm sure, but it's true.
Despite all of this, you are wild and free, long hair flowing as you race up and down hills. People claim it makes you look feminine, but I disagree. It merely makes you look as untamable as you are.
You are a hummingbird, my darling, a wild spring, fast and energetic, never stopping your motion. Be careful to not shatter yourself. Don't let the world hold you back. You are more than it is, and you should never forget that.
