♡ pt.2

DIFFERENT mINDSET .

the sun was hiding behind the clouds,
trying to hide the tears that was about to fall down.
and as the tears broke through the horizon and appeared as rain,
it was then that the sun had lost that desire, that desire to shine.

at first there would be a drizzle,
and then it would lead to a pour.
the clouds would form together as one,
around the sad, dull sun.

as sun continues to tear, and the world continues to go darker,
he took what seemed like a photo album,
and burn it all away.

"why- why am i in love alone? why am i the one hurting instead?"
was what he muttered through the night,

as he watched the photos burned one by one.
he was laughing,
crying,
thinking about the one-sided memories.

perhaps, was this what the society perceived as love--
when there would only be one person loving more, giving more, hurting more?

he didn't realised back then,
he might have been too blinded by the so- called 'love.'

and as he stared blankly at the lost photos,
he also didn't realised that at that time,

he was burning himself away too.
