"No way." Nick instantly cut Carisi off. Maybe a little harsher than was necessary, but there was a bubble of anger rising in Nick's gut. And it only got worse the longer he glared at the mugshot. "The guy's a bastard. Y/N barely talks about him. I'm not putting them through that."
Carisi looked like he wanted to say more, but Olivia was already nodding. "You don't have to talk to them. We understand."
Nick should have felt a little relieved that he wouldn't have to bring up this sore subject to you. But instead, there was already a fire burning in his chest.
This guy was going down, no matter what, Nick was going to make sure of that.
