Bree's POV:

I ran into the living room where Adam, Chase, and Leo were sitting on the couch. "Guys! I just found out theres a new girl coming to school tomorrow! Maybe I can finally have a friend whose a girl and isn't insane!" I say excitedly.

"Oh yeah! Thats about as likely to happen as Chase getting a girlfriend. Or growing" Adam teases taking us both down. I glare at him. "Yeah well who knows, maybe Adam will learn something" Chase says.

We all stand there in silence looking at him. Then we all laugh. "Yeah like thats gonna happen" Chase says. "Okay, lets go, we'll be later for school" Leo says. "Okay shorty" Adam says. We laugh and Chase fist bumps Adam.

Time skip to school

Adam, Chase, Leo, and I were walking to our lockers when I saw someone, she had to be the new girl cuz I had never seen her before. "Hey, I think thats the new girl" I say. I walk over to her. She's sitting on the bench reading a book. "Hi, I'm Bree" I say.

Your POV:

I was reading my book, It was a sci-fi book about robots and aliens. Call me a nerd, I don't care what people say or think about me.

A girl with long curly brown hair walks over. "Hi, I'm Bree. You must be new?" The girl says. "Yeah, sorry, I'm actually Y/n. But I'll let you know if I see anyone called New" You joke. Bree looks confused.

I look over at some lockers to see three guys laughing. then one of them said "I don't get it" "Adam, it was a joke" Another guy says. Bree looks back at them.

"Sorry, those are my brothers" She says. "Nah its cool" I say. "Guys come over here!" Bree says. "This is Y/n" "I'm Chase, these are my brothers, Adam, and Leo" Damn he's cute.

"Nice to meet you guys" I say. "Okay well I better get to class. Can any of you point me to the science classroom?" I ask. "yeah, I actually have science right now too so I can walk you there if you'd like" Chase says. I smile. "That'd be great. Thanks" You say.

Bree's POV:

"Okay, I'm scared, A girl is actually talking to Chase" I say. Adam and Leo laugh. "I wonder how hard she hit her head" Adam says. We laugh and go to class.

Time Skip to Lunch

Chase's POV:

Adam, Bree, Leo, and I walk into the cafeteria. I notice y/n walking in. "Hey guys, there's y/n." I say. "She looks lost. We should invite her to sit with us" Bree says. "Wait! What if she's bionic! You know like Marcus was!" Adam says.

"Adam, we've been over this. Not every new student who comes here is bionic" I say. Bree, Leo, and I beckon for y/n to come over as we make eye contact. She starts walking over as we sit down at our regular table.

Your POV:

"Hey guys!" I say as I walk over to Adam, Bree, Chase, and Leo after they motion for me to join them. "Hey y/n" Bree says. "So how's your first day of school so far?" Chase asks. "Well so far I've had Chemistry, English, and P.E. But I've gotta say Chemistry is my favorite so far. You know, testing with chemicals and nearly blowing things up" I say, remembering first period with Chase. I nearly caught the classroom on fire. And the teacher assigned me to be lab partners with Chase so at least I knew someone.

"Wait. You guys have Chemistry?" Adam asks. I snap out of remembering class. "Yeah they do have Chemistry" Leo says. I think he was trying to make a joke. "Really? Wow" I say sarcastically. "So y/n do you wanna come over after school today? It would be great to hang out with another girl for once" Bree says. "Sure!" I say.

I honestly can't believe I already have friends. "So where do you live?" Chase asks. "Creepy much?" Bree says. We laugh. "Nah it's cool. I live with my Aunt downtown" I say. "Why do you live with your aunt?" Leo asks. "My parents died when I was a baby so I've lived with my aunt ever since and we just moved here to Mission Creek." I say.

"What's that like? Living with your Aunt I mean" Chase asks. "Its horrible. She treats my like a servant. I have to do whatever she tells me and if I don't I don't get dinner" I say. Shuddering at the thought of my horrible home life.

"I'm so sorry. I wish there was someway we could help" Leo says. "Well maybe there is" Bree says. "You could come live with us. We could ask our dad, Mr. Davenport." Bree says. I was so touched by the offer. "Your dad is the Donald Davenport?!" I say excitedly. "Um, Bree, can I talk to you for a second?" Chase asks. Bree nods. "Excuse is for a moment" Bree says getting up.

Chase's POV:

"Bree if she lives with us then we'll have to tell her about our bionics and I don't really trust her, we just met her" I say. Looking over at the table where Adam, Leo, and Y/n are watching us. Y/n smiles and waves. Bree waves back.

"Yeah, but Chase, you heard her! I won't let her keep living like that. It's not fair to anyone. If we have to tell her about our bionics then I will" Bree says. "Bree no. It's to dangerous." I say. "I'm asking Mr. Davenport with or without you." Bree says and walks back to the table.

Your POV:

"Hey Bree, is everything okay?" I ask. "Yeah, no, it's fine. When you come over today I'll explain to Mr. Davenport your situation." Bree says. "Honestly I don't know how to thank you. And you call your dad Mr. Davenport?" I ask confused. "Uh, yeah. I'll explain later" Bree says.
