Chase Davenport x Reader: The Truth

Adam and I are slouching in the chairs in the lab when Mr. Davenport walks in. "Can you believe it? Chase has a girl over. I had to shake her hand to make sure she wasn't a hologram" He says. "I wish she was a hologram" I say. Adam nods in agreement. "Mr. Davenport, can you be honest with me? Am I not pretty?" Adam asks, and then makes his selfie face. 

"Just be happy for him. Chase is a sweet sensitive guy and obviously she likes that" Mr. Davenport says. "Yeah, Adam. Be happy for him" I say sarcastically. "Let's just hope he doesn't get nervous and mess it up" Mr. Davenport says, giving Adam and I the same idea. 

We look at each other with a grin on our faces. "That's right! He could get nervous, and mess it up" Adam says happily. "Don't do anything to ruin this for Chase, either of you!" Mr. Davenport says. "Oh, don't worry. We won't do anything" Adam says, grinning. We run out of the Lab and back upstairs just as I notice Leo and Bree run in. 

Adam and I walk into the kitchen and watched Chase and Sabrina. "You stay here and I'll get something to eat" Chase said getting up and coming into the kitchen. Chase got a bowl and some cheese puffs. "Sabrina said she wanted to hang out after we were done with the molecule" Chase said grinning. "Oh Chase that's great!" I say. 

Chase starts pouring the cheese puffs in the bowl. "Yeah and you'll know exactly what to talk about since you have so much experience talking to girls!" Adam says. "Yeah-" Chase stops pouring and turns around. "Oh my god! I don't know what to talk about" He says frantically. "Oh I'm sure you'll be fine!" I say shoving him back out to the living room. 

"So Sabrina, Chase tells me you're going to hang out with him afterwards." I start. "Well I hope he doesn't get nervous... I mean Chase hasn't even talked to a girl besides Y/n." Adam says. "Y/n, what if she's his first kiss?" Adam says. We gasp with fake excitement. "You've never been kissed?" Sabrina asks. "wha-" Chase starts but we cut him off. 

"yeah, I mean you might even be his first girlfriend!" I say. "I've had a girlfriend before!" Chase argues. "Oh yeah, who?" I ask. "Yeah, what's her name?" Adam asks. "Uhhhh... Canada!" Chase says. I try to stop myself from laughing. "Where's she from?" I ask him. "Canada" Chase says awkwardly. "Canada from Canada?" Adam asks. "I feel sorry for that girl" I say laughing. Sabrina and Adam start laughing too. 

And then it happens. 

Chase stops moving for a moment and then takes a power stance. "Guess who's back!" Adam yells happily. "Who's back?" Sabrina asks worriedly. "Oh, that's Spike" Adam says. Adam and I watch Chase in Spike mode. "So that's Spike?" I ask. Adam nods. "Okay well I'm getting out of here and I'll be back whenever he calms down" I say. 

A couple minutes later I stop hearing the crashing noises so I go downstairs. "Woah" I say. "Sabrina left?" I ask. "Yup" Adam says. Chase snaps out of Spike mode. "What happened?! Did Spike show up?!" Chase yells. "Why would you guys do this?" He asks. 

"You don't remember anything?" Adam asks. Chase shakes his head no. "Then it was all Y/n" Adam says. I hit his arm. "Why would you do this?" He asked me. "You know, for the smartest guy in the world. You're not very bright." I say, sad that he couldn't realize why I did this. I shove past him and go back upstairs. "y/n..." He says quietly as I walk away.
