Love Above the Clouds

Chapter 8

“Do you think she's ok?"

"Yeah I think so."

"How will we explain this?"

"I've thought about it and I think it's best we let her ask the questions and we'll answer"

"What do we say about Beka and Cassie?"

When I woke up I was back in my seat but I was lying over all three of them. Beka was nowhere to be seen and there were 5 thoughtful faces leaning over me. Harry, Zayn, Louis, Liam and Niall.

"Quite a fall you took" Zayn said with a chuckle.

"Where am I?" was all i could think up to say in reply.

"Your in the middle of the indian ocean." said Liam. "well that's where I think we are anyway." I found my head was resting in Harry's lap,and my feet were on Niall. I looked up to harry's blood covered face.

Shocked, I realised that I couldn't hear the plane engines going and i smelt smoke. I sat up straight. And oh did that make my head hurt. "What happened? wh-wh Whyyy aren't the engines going. Have we crashed? Where's Beka? Cassie! Where are they? Explain!"

Niall turned me around so I was facing him. " Elena calm down." he said with his hands on my shoulders, I made eye contact, but not for long. I prefer not to make eye contact. But it was so hard. Those blue eyes are irresistible. " I'm Niall by the way" he said with a friendly smile.

So much was going through my head. How was I meant to calm down? I didn't know where Beka was and I was surrounded by faces. Are we all ok? Am I in heaven? I swapped seats with Niall to get a look out the window to see blue. Not sky blue, sea blue,I pressed my nose against the cracked window, I looked down below us and there was brightly coloured floating devices, must of cushioned our landing. As this was all sinking in I could feel a comforting hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Niall. Zayn, Liam and Louis all still in the isle.I got up into the isle as looked around to see there was no one else in the plane. I must've look shocked and scared because I ended up with a five way sandwich hug. It defiantly made me feel better.

“Sit back down love. You were unconscious a moment ago. I'm Liam” Liam said gesturing back to the seat next to Harry.

I took my seat and said the first thing that came to mind. " where is everyone else?" I asked with a confused look on my face.

Louis was the one to answer that. "They have been collected by a helicopter. Hi I'm Louis. Just in case you didn't know." I could see the smirk on his face. He was totally taking the piss out of me. I didn't mind though. I nodded.

“And where is my luggage” I asked.

“A boat has already come to pick up all the luggage on the plane. We made sure that Beka's and yours are with ours.” Harry smiled.

"So where's Cassie and Beka." was my next question.

Zayn answered "Beka and Cassie are on the helicopter as we speak. You were meant to go with them but the paramedics said you weren't stable enough so we all stayed behind to make sure you were alright." ok that answered my next question too.

"so what happened?" was my last question. It was the one I wanted answered the most.

Harry answered this one. “Well while we were in the food hall the plane had a malfunction.”

“what kind of malfunction?” I asked.

“Just let him finish darling. Harry continue” Louis said smiling to himself and winked to harry. He was having fun.

“The whole plane shook and everyone fell to the floor. We all looked pretty bruised and hurt but the only one lying unconscious was you. The girls around you gathered round to see if you were alright. I rushed over when I heard over the loud speaker that everyone was to head back to their seats for an emergency landing. I got a message from Lou asking if I was alright. I was fine but of course you weren't. I carried you back to our seats and sat there while the plane landed in the water. We were told to remain calm since they lost all communication. Luckily our manager was able to get hold of the people in Paris and told us where we were. From there everyone has had turns getting on the one helicopter that was sent to save us. We are the last to get on. But paramedics said to wait until you came to before we were allowed to take you anywhere.” Harry finished explaining.
