James POV
Two weeks! I haven't seen, talked to, touched, or kissed my mate in two weeks!! I stare down at the map laid out on the desk. I need to finish this and get back home to Beti...
"Alpha, what are you thinking?" Mark asks pulling me out of my though.
"Um I say we send team 1 to the left, this way." I say drawing my fingers alone the path. "team 2 to the right, team 4 down the centre, and team 3 will strike from behind." Alpha Burns nods in agreement.
"I'll be with team one." Burns says pointing to the left, then he turns to his beta Daniel. "you'll go with team 2 along with Charolette." Daniel nods
"She'll be happy about that." Daniel says laughing slightly. His mate has been itching to be let fight.
"Mark you'll be with team 4, and I'll be with 3." I finish up before rolling the map up. "let's get ready!" I say walking out of the office and to the room I've been staying at.
"knock, knock." Mark says leaning against the door frame. "how you holding up?" he asks knowing that I just want to drop everything and go back home.
"fine, ready to be done." I say pulling out the photo of Beti my moment sent me. She's sitting at my desk reading a book looking tiny in my big chair. I can't wait to see her again.
"well if all goes smoothly we should be out of here in 2 days." he says pushing off the door and heading to his room to get ready.

Beti's POV
Alpha king has been gone for a few weeks now, and I've gotten pretty much the swing of things.
In the Morning I wake up, eat breakfast, go for a run(much shorter now), do some paper work with alphas mom, then it's lunch. After lunch I help out in the pack daycare, do some prep work for dinner, and shower. Once we eat dinner I go up into alphas office sign some more stuff then read till late at night, where I crash.
I walk out of breakfast and wait patiently for the warriors to come out. Eventually everyone's here so I just start jogging out in the woods making sure everyone keeps up. I don't talk on these runs but it's always fun to listen to what the warriors say.
"So are you guys ready for tomorrow?" some one asks. They all reponds in groans. They made the decision that on Fridays we would go for a run like the first time a did the runs. They all complain about it but want to keep it up, claiming that they want to impress Alpha when he comes back.
"I'm still recovering from last week's run!" someone else complains.
"well you could always just ditch." one person says
"and get kick out?! Never!" they reply.
There so weird. But I have to admit I'm missing my pack less and less. I still want to go back don't get me wrong, it's just I don't miss certain things about them. Like here everyone's treated as equals, there's no servants or people being forced to do things. Everyone's so friendly, the world just seems to be brighter here.I start to slow down letting people pass me so I can bring up the rear. The back is the place I would prefer to run, but since I'm suppose to be leading this I only run back here a few minutes before I start making my way back to the front.

James POV
I lead my group of warriors through the wood at the rear of the rouge camp. It's quite as all of these highly trained wolves know how to be stealthy. Once I see the edge of a clearing a stop and crouch down behind a log.
