«James POV»

I keep running till I'm at the NewMoons Pack house. Alpha Dolie was luckily walking out the door as we arrived. I shifted I didn't even care if I had no cloths on, I wanted to know why on earth someone has burned my mate!

"Alpha Dolie!" I said, he turned and smiled at me "would like to explain to me why I almost thought my mate, was not my mate because someone had burned her!" I said pointing to my beautiful Mate next to me. when he saw her his eyes widened, and she bowed her head.

"Beti. get inside the pack house now." he said madly. Beti what a lovely name. wait! How Dare He Talk To Her Like That!!! my mate starts walking towards the pack house with her head hung.

"NO! shes not! she is coming with me, and don't you dare talk to my mate like that!" I yell at him "Beti please come here." she turns around and starts walking towards me her head still hung.

"Beti don't test me. go inside the pack house now and shift." she turns towards the pack house again her tail tucked between her legs.

"Beti, come her." she looks at me and turns towards me again.

"Beti I'm your Alpha and I order you to go in side and shift or else you will be punished" that made my blood boil, I am his king and she is his Queen! he can't order her around and he can not threaten her without picking a fight with me. she look sad and started walking to the pack house.

"Alpha Dolie! I am James Palin THE alpha king! your king! you have no power over me or MY mate!!" Dolies face became mad. Beti was about to step inside when I called her "Beti please come here princess"she once more turned towards me and slowly started walking towards me, but when she walked past Alpha Dolie he kicked her and she whimpers. that whimper is the saddest thing I ever hear, it breaks my heart. I was about to kill Dolie but Mark pulls up before I have the chance to shift.

"James! heads up!" he said throwing me pants and a shirt. I put them on.

"Mark can you open the trunk and get out a few blankets." I ask

"yep!" he said walking to the trunk. Beti is now standing next to me and I lean over to her and whispered

"don't worry we'll get you out of here." she just looks at me tired.

"Hey everyone come outside and say goodbye to Alpha king Palin." Alpha Dolie called into the pack house. what was he doing. about 25 people came out. I turned towards Beti

"come on baby let's get you in the car." I tell her and she starts limping off toward the car. I would have to get her left back leg checked out.

"Beti before you leave." Dolie called "shift"

"NO!!" I yell but it's to late. she is already shifting! I run to her and she falls into my arms with only her hair covering her. I am the only one who should ever she her like this. the people that had come out of the pack house were laughing at her, and she looked so embarrassed. "shift baby, please shift" she did and now I have her fuzzy wolf in my arms. I set her down on her all fours, and she flinch when her paw hit the ground. she ignored it and hobbled back toward the car.

"come here Luna." Mark said holding out a blanket. I March up to Dolie

"why on earth did you do that!! she is my Mate!" I yell at him!!

"shift!" he yelled again. I snapped around and she starts shifting form she was not in the car yet. I run and try to catch her, but she hits the ground first. Mark drops the blanket and runs to her and starts picking her up. NO I should be the ONLY one touching her!!
