~Hunk x Altean!Reader~ Let's bake!

My first Hunk x Reader! Hope you guys enjoy! Feel free to make requests 😊

"Hunk!" A female voice called out. The tall Samoan turned towards the source of the voice. At the end of the hall was (Y/N). Allura's sister.

Hunk smiled as the young female jogged towards him. "Hey, (Y/N), What are you up to?" (Y/N) smiled. "Hi, Hunk!  I'm not doing much. I actually wanted to see what you were up to!" The princess smiled as she folded her hands behind her back and looked up with a bright smile.

"Well, I was headed to the kitchen to bake." Hunk explained as they walked down the hall. "Can I help?" (Y/N) asked. The male nodded with a huge grin as he grabbed her hand and pulled the princess to the kitchen.

Once they made it, the kitchen was empty. "Perfect." Hunk spoke to no one in particular as he began to pull out some baking sheets. "Hey, (Y/N)?"

"Yes, Hunk?"

"Ok so remember last time I made cookies?"

The Altean was trying to remember. Then the memory hit her like a pack of yalmors running in a stampede.

Hunk ended up making extremely hard cookies out of some type of flour made with Scaultrite.

(Y/N) looked up at him with a smile. "Yes, yes I do."

"Ok, so it would be nice if I could make actual edible cookies without breaking my teeth or using them for the teludav. Could you help me with reading the ingredients? Please?" He asked with big puppy eyes.

She smiled. "Of course!" She began searching through the cabinets and pulling out ingredients while Hunk pulled out appliances and materials. As (Y/N) placed everything on the counter, Hunk began to preheat the Altean oven.

Ding!

The oven beeped, letting them know that whatever they had prepared was finally ready to be eaten. Both Hunk and (Y/N) looked at eachother nervously as Hunk opened the oven. A scent of warmth, sugar, and cinnamon filled their noses. They both took in a deep breath and sighed deeply
 
Hunk grabbed mits and pulled out the tray and set it on the counter. They chatted casually as they waited for the cookies to cool down.

The more the spoke to eachother, the more they gained feelings for eachother. (Y/N) couldn't help but smile at Hunk's earth stories. She couldn't get enough of him.

After a while, the cookies were finally ready to be eaten. Both youngsters looked at eachother with small smiles. They each grabbed a cookie and took a bite.

The cookie melted in their mouths. To (Y/N), it brought back happy memories from Altea and her family.

She smiled as she took another bite. "Hunk, this is amazing! You are extremely gifted in the art of cooking."

Hunk blushed at the compliment. "Maybe so, but if it weren't for the help of a certain Altean Princess, then it wouldn't have been possible, so thank you, (Y/N)." He said in a sweet tone. It was her turn to blush now. She really did like Hunk.

"It was nothing, Hunk. You're welcome." She gave him an authentic (Y/N) smile. Something she didn't do often.

They gathered the cookies in little containers and began handing them out to the other paladins, including Allura and Coran. They all loved them.

The kitchen was finally clean and both Hunk and (Y/N) wiped their forheads. "Well, I guess it's time for me to take a nap. I'm exhausted." (Y/N) said as she covered her mouth while yawning. "Once again, Hunk, thank you. I had so much fun. I hope we can meet up again soon."

She smiled and gave Hunk a soft kiss on the cheek, leaving a very pink faced Hunk.
