Y/N's P.O.V

I was sitting in English class twiddling my thumbs looking up at the front of the room trying not to fall asleep.

"Today we have a new assignment." The teacher said. Everyone groans in annoyance. "Come on Mr.C we should do something fun. It's almost the end of school. Can we end it on 'good terms'. No one wants to do some boring assignment." Stated Harry Osborne.

Harry can be a jerk sometimes and usually says stupid things but this one actually makes sense for once.

"Well Harry, School isn't Always meant for fun. I would say that you should do any assignment I assign for a good grade, but either way you never get good grades." Mr.C snapped back.

Everyone laughed including Peter Parker, his best friend. Who happens to be my crush.

"Asshole" Harry said under his breath. 

"Oh come on harry take a joke." Peter whispered to him.

Harry just rolled his eyes.

When the bell rang I began to walk out of class. Harry started to walk behind me. He tapped my shoulder.

I turned around raising one eyebrow at him giving him my attention. "So, for this assignment we need partners and my buddy Pete over there was wondering if you wanted to be his partner." He said pointing over at Peter.

I looked over and Peter waved his hand at me awkwardly.  "tell Peter, that I won't be his partner until he asks me himself." I said looking over at Peter and smiling. He sighed getting closer to me "Why are you so hard to get y/n...I mean its super hot but look at the poor boy." I scoff rolling my eyes and walk away.

When it was the end of the school day I walked to my locker and noticed Peter standing in front of it. I smile at him, walking a little faster so I could get to him quicker.

"Well hello there Peter Parker." I said smiling at him. "Is there anything you would like to ask me?" I said hinting to him.

"Yes. Would you like to be my partner for the assignment...and also would you like to go on a date with me." He said looking into my eyes.

I smile and say "I'd love to."

He smiled and let out a sigh of  relief. "Here I'll give you my number so you could call me." I said holding my hand out for his phone.

He quickly put his hand in his pocket and took out his phone and went into the contacts and handed me his phone. I put in my phone number and handed it back. Our hands touched a little bit, we both looked at it for a second I started to blush and he did as well.

"Well I'll talk to you later then." Peter said walking away.

I smiled at him watching him walk out. That boy is amazing. I thought to myself.

I've liked Peter since last year. Something about him just makes me feel alive. In this world everything is so bland and boring but when I see Peter I just feel excited and happy.
