Your POV:

"So, Y/N." Camila said after Lauren walked away. "Why did Weiss break up with you?"

"I told you, Cabello."

"Well, you didn't tell me everything."

"She thought that Lauren and I were a thing. That I have romantic feelings for her and shit. Basically that."

"Well, don't you?"

"I don't know. And that triggered her even more. Said she couldn't live with the doubt and stuff."

"Ouch." Camila flinched. "Well, I hope this doesn't interfere too much on the band. That would be sad."

"I hope so too. I am doing my best to be as professional as I can be. I just hope that Weiss will be able to do the same."

Camila nodded. "Let's change the subject though. How is the feeling of success?"

"It feels fantastic. Like when you get home and your mom is cooking your favorite meal." Camila laughed at that.

"Good comparison. Food applies to everything..."

"Yeah, man... Like, the best way of saying someone that they are gorgeous is 'you look as great as a pizza on a Saturday night after a long week of work.'"

We laughed a little bit more and talked about the various applications of food. Camila decided to look for my bandmates. She said she wanted to talk to them- to Ruby, actually- and then walked away.

I decided to walk around and admire Max's work. As I did so, I couldn't stop thinking about how Weiss' cold blue eyes, which looked like the ocean, drowned me in a lot of ways through the years. For a long time, I drowned in a sea of hope and dreams and fortune. Then, I drowned in the coldness of her stare and in the bitterness of her words. Okay, I'll admit. I am really poetic and boring when I am sad.

I looked at a photograph that had nothing but a sunrise. It was beautiful. Light pink, orange, blue and all the colors of that fantastic natural process registered. The sea, right under the rising star, reflected the light in an incredible way.

"The sunrise." A masculine voice said beside me. "A new beginning that rises. New opportunities, new day, new life. Everything about it shines with hope and the light of a new beginning." I looked him from head to toe. He was tall, had dark blond and messy hair and a irregularly shaved beard. His eyes were brightly green and stated at my own brown ones with the attention on a feline. He wore brown combat boots, black jeans, a dark blue T-shirt and a black overcoat. His hands were tucked inside the coat's pockets.

I smiled politely at him. "Or the end of the past night and the death of the moon." He shrugged.

"Depends on how your soul decides to see it." The man smiled. Then, he took his hand out of the pocket, offering it for a handshake. "I am Alexander Aurum, by the way."

I took his hand and shook it. "Y/N Egmont."

"Cool name." Oh, you won't flirt with me now, right?!

"Thanks. Yours is cool too."

"Thank you."

Alexander and I talked a bit about the Universe and a bunch of stuff. His mind was actually pretty cool and he talked as poetically as I do and lived in London too.

Apparently, the Universe had planned an eternal state of never being able to tell the woman he truly loved about his feelings. Apparently, I identified with his situation more than I could admit. Our talk was interrupted when I had to go to the bathroom with a promise to talk to each other later.
