-Avery-

Days had gone by quicker than ever. Especially having someone who I could talk to non stop - seriously with no breaks in-between, only exception is to breathe and the occasional toilet breaks.

The boys and I had just finished an intense soccer practice. We only had three days left till our start of the season game. Since it was our very first game of the term, I can't even stress how big it was.

The boys had been working extremely hard, busting their guts and spilling some sweat. This wasn't just any random game for them, of course it was important since winning this game means that we would be entered in the League Championships, it was also the game that would determine who would be the next team captain of the year.

Being given captinancy is an honour. Not only was it good on a University application but it sure as hell feels amazing knowing that you are the team's most treasured player, the person who your team looks up to, the person who takes the team to their ultimate victory. That was a bit dramatic.

The coach blew his whistle, it was the sound of freedom. A chorus of hoots was heard in the field accompanied by loud, hoarse pants.

I packed my things quickly as usual to get to the changing rooms first but as quickly as I got there, boys filled the room as well - they must've been so eager to leave to rest as I was. Under any pressure, who wasn't?

"Hey, Dave. You doing anything today?" Jeremy asked taking the spot beside me. He took off his T-shirt showing me his sculpted six-pack over his dark creamy skin. "The boys wanted to go to Rusty's Diner. A treat to keep our minds off training for a bit."

I pulled down my shorts but this time without any more hesitation. After a month of training, my legs had become more toned and fuller than when I came but they were still very feminine. I had added a sock in my boxers recently too so that I had at least something to "present". It was uncomfortable but it was a sacrifice worth doing.

"Sorry, I can't come tonight. I have tons of work to do, but I promise I'll come next time." I explained, jumping into my school attire. Do you ever have those moments when you get asked to go out by your friends but your too lazy to go, this is the moment.

"There goes Dave again being a buzz-kill." Jason came up with a towel wrapped around his waist. I assume he only had the towel on. His hair was dripping with water fresh from the shower. Droplets of water covered his biceps which were curved perfectly like a God's. The whole team entered the conversation, agreeing to his comment.

"There goes all of the guys again neglecting their education." I punched back with a smile. I threw all my clothes in my duffel bag and made my way outside saluting the half-naked men.

My wig was awfully drenched with sweat and I couldn't shower until everyone was asleep and that's usually at 3 am for the male species. I combed my hair backwards in frustration as I
walked through the hallway.

I was nearly at my lockers when a girl skipped along and stopped me dead on my tracks, not just stopped me - she pulled me harshly towards her nearly making me fall on her. Does this girl want to die?

"Hey, David. It's been so long since we've talked. I missed you so much." She said in such a forced raspy tone. She was beautiful but the layers of make-up really didn't do her beauty justice.

"Excuse me.Who are you?" I asked as politely as possible. It wasn't the first time I got hit on by a girl, after the spontaneous incident I mean. Girls would approach me everywhere I go, batting their long eyelashes at me, biting their lips at me.

Isabella was the exception.

She looked at me in shock like what I said was a sin. "It's me, Tracey. We have Maths together period 5." I shook my head and shrugged my shoulders, a pout of confusion on my lips. "Erm... we talked before in this very same hallway."
