The Real Elena

Dean's P.O.V, The Next Morning

Walking out of the Salvatore Boarding house I looked out to the surrounding forest. I could have sworn that I saw someone but, it could have just been my imagination. I put the bag in the trunk and waited for Sam. Before Sam came out I saw Elena pull up. I smiled and waved to her and watched as she did the same back. She came over to my window and smiled.

"So you guys are still here?"

"Yeah we are getting ready to head out though."

"Well where ya going next?"

"Before we leave Mystic Falls we are going to help you with the Original family."

"Well I just talked to Rebekah and they are in New Orleans."

"Well I guess we are going on a road trip."

"Great I will go get the boys."

"Wait your going?"

"Well duh." I just smiled as she walked away. That was one crazy girl. If I didnt live this horrible life I would probably ask her out. He'll maybe I will anyways.

"Dean." Sam says getting into the car.

"What?"

"What were you thinking about?"

"Nothing."

"You sure? You looked really deep in thought."

"I said it was nothing OK."

"Ok sorry." I watcged as Elena walked out of the house with the Salvatore brothers in tow. They got into Elena's car and we were off. Elena drove in front of us for about 3 hours before they pulled off the highway and into a small diner.

"Finally I thought we would never stop."

"Of please Sammy. You know that eventually I would have to stop. Especially with you complaining about my music."

"Sorry Dean but, your music needs to be updated."

"At least it's not Taylor Swift anymore." Sam looked as I got out. During one of our hunts I was put back in my 14 year old body abd I loved Taylor.

"This place OK guys? Damon and Stefan just need to finish then we can head in." Elena said pointing to the back seat. Damon and Stefan were drinking from blood bags.

"Yeah it is fine." Sam answered for both of us.

"Great. When I had my emotions off I remeber coming here with someone and I thought it was good."

"I thought Vamps could only drink blood. I didnt know they could eat other food as well."

"As long as we have a good amount of blood in our system we can eat regular food as well." I thought about it for a minute. These vamps had many different habits and traits then the others kind did.

"What else is different?"

"Well as you know I can turn off my emotions, I can eat regular food, and I can also do compulsion."

"Compulsion?"

"Yeah its when you pretty much control another person." Sam said looking up from his computer.

"Hello Sam. Hello Dean." Elena jumped as Cas appeared out of no where.

"Who the hell are you?"

"My name is Castiel. I am an angel of the lord."

"An angel?"

"Cas we talked about this you can't just pop in out of no where."

"Right sorry. Who are these two?"

"This is Damon and Stefan..."

"Salvatore."

"Yeah. If you knew that then why did you ask?"

"I didn't know their first name. I'll be right back." Cass disappeared again and Elena looked at Sam and I.

"Angels are real?"

"Yeah and that's not the only thing."

"What do you mean?"

"It's a story for another time." We finished eating and I payed the bill and we headed out. New Orleans was still a long way away.
