The next day I got up and walked downstairs. No one except Dean knows that I took the cure last night. Now that I was human I could have a life with a family.
As I walked into the kitchen Caroline looked to me.
"Why are you so happy?"
"Today we kill Klaus." I smiled and looked around Sam was sitting at the table researching. I didn't see Dean so I walked around the table to the living room where I saw him sitting on the couch drinking a beer.
"A little early to be drinking don't ya think?"
"It's never to early to have a beer." I shook me head. He set his beer down and looked to me. "What?"
"Nothing." He gave me a 'really' look. "I'm serious."
"Ok. Well I'm going to go get ready. You probably should too." I nodded and watched as he stood up and went upstairs taking his beer with him.
I walked back into the kitchen and Sam looked at me.
"You like my brother don't you?"
"No."
"You can tell me, there is no one else here."
"Where did Caroline go?"
"She is outside."
"You really want to know?" He nodded. "Yes OK, I like your brother. When I am around him it makes me feel like I'm not weak. He makes me feel strong. I feel like taking a risk or do something dangerous." I looked back to him. "I just don't think he likes me that way."
"How do you know?"
"Do you know something I don't?"
"Elena he told me that he was helping you because your not like all the other girls in his life. I mean yeah he settled down for a while but when I got back he started hunting with me again."
"He actually stopped hunting to be with someone?"
"Yea he did."
"Then why did you pull him back in?"
"It wasn't like I wanted him to start hunting again. He was happy but a hunt came up and I had no idea what I was doing. Then again I didn't have my soul at the time."
"You lost your soul?"
"Yea didn't have it for over a year almost two."
"Wow. Anyway what do you mean Dean said I wasn't like like the other girls?"
"Why are you talking about this to Elena Sammy?" Dean asked coming into the kitchen.
"Dean she deserved to know how you feel. Especially after what she told me." I quickly looked to Sam. How could he say that out loud? I turned and walked out of the kitchen up to my room. As I went to open my door Dean walked up to me.
"Lena can we talk?"
"Sure." I opened my door and Dean walked in behind me. This was going to be an interesting conversation.
"What was Sam talking about when he said 'She deserved to know especially after what she told me.'?"
"It's nothing Dean."
"Elena I know something is bugging you what's wrong?"
"It's just....... I like you ok Dean." He looked at me and I couldn't read his expression. "I really really like you Dean." He walked closer to me. I could feel his breath on my nose.
"I like you too." I smiled and next thing I knew his lips were on mine. He pulled back after a minute and we were both smiling.
"I have to get ready but, I will see you later."
"Yes you will." He said as he walked out of my room. After he closed the door I let out a breath I didn't know that I was holding. This was defiantly the best day ever.
25 minutes later
"Ok here is the plan. Sam, Dean, and Elena will go around the back. Damon, Stefan, and I will go around front. Then Rebekah you will try to distract your brother." Caroline says as we were looking at a map of the Mikelson mansion.
"Ok let's get to it." We walked out to our cars. I rode with Sam and Dean I was in the backseat and Dean kept looking back at me in the rearview mirror.
"So what's going to happen after this."
"Well you are coming with us and we will start looking for more hunts as we train you."
"I already know how to shoot a gun and I can defend myself."
"Let's just get this over with." After driving for fifteen minutes we pulled up to the Mikelson mansion and we got out. Dean and Sam walked to the back of their car and opened the trunk. Inside the trunk was a type of drawing, witch I am guessing they will teach me about, and a false bottom that lifted up to reveal many many weapons. The weapons ranged from guns to machetes.

I grabbed a machete like Sam and Dean did. As we walked up to the back of the house we heard gun shots along with Stefan and Damon yelling.
"Hello love." I turned quickly only to find Klaus standing right in front of me.
"Klaus."
"What are you doing here Elena? I already told you I can't hurt you otherwise I can't make any hybrids."
"Well good thing that you don't need to worry about that now." Damon came up from behind Klaus and shoved the white oak stake toward him. Klaus quickly turned and knocked the stake out of his hand. He threw Damon backwards as Sam and Dean ran at them with their machetes drawn. I watched as they each took a swing at Klaus. Sam ended up being thrown backwards. As Dean was distracting Klaus, I ran forward and grabbed the white oak stake off the ground. I ran up behind Klaus and jabbed the white oak stake into his back. Vains started to cover his body and his skin turned gray. Finally after so many years my greatest threat was gone and my hunter life could finally begin.
A/N: the next chapter will be 2 weeks after Elena killed Klaus. This chapter is 1000 words just for you guys Published on September 13, 2017
