"Tae Tae dear, you're so handsome."
Granny greeted after Taehyung went out of his room. It's prom night and the brunette is wearing the suit he borrowed from Jungkook. He stood at the center of the small living room and grins widely at his grandmother.
"Really Granny? Do you think Jungkook would like this?" He gestured for his outfit.
"Of course darling. Come here, let's fix your hair." Granny replied and reached for the comb at the table. She began to raise her hand that's clutching the comb and tries to comb Taehyung's hair. Taehyung, noticing his grandmother's struggle in reaching his hair, sits down and let's himself be groomed.
"Ah you're getting taller son. I can't even reach you now!" Granny chuckled.
Taehyung also followed his grandma chuckling. "But I'll always be the same Tae Tae, Granny."
"Yes, you'll always be my baby Tae Tae." Granny then squished his cheeks after combing his hair, causing for Taehyung to pout and laughter echoing the house.
A knock interrupted their little moment and Taehyung exclaimed, "Omo! That must be Jungkook!"
"I'll get it." Granny said and walked to the door, while Taehyung is straightening his suit.
As Granny opened the door, she was also greeted with a handsome young man in a suit and tie. She smiled widely at Jungkook and felt thankful that her grandson has someone he can call a friend.
Jungkook also smiled widely, showing his bunny teeth, at the sight of Granny. "Hello, Granny!"
"Hello, Jungkook dear." She replied back with a smile and gestured for him to come in. "You look handsome."
"Thanks Granny."
Jungkook stopped in his tracks when he saw Taehyung. The brunette felt awkward at how the raven head was looking at him.
"H-hi.."
Jungkook smiled widely, his eyes sparkling. "You're gorgeous Tae.."
Taehyung widened his eyes from Jungkook's words. Did he hear wrong?
"W-what did you say?"
"I said you're gorgeous." Jungkook repeated louder than before. He then casually walked towards Taehyung and gently removed his eye glasses. "There. Better."
Taehyung blinked and he can't believe how Jungkook can be so sweet. The raven head still continued to stare at his exposed eyes, looking like he was mesmerized.
Granny quietly cleared her throat and whispered, "Excuse me, I'll be in the kitchen." Then walked off.
Taehyung shyly looked at Jungkook's appearance also and he admits the raven head is handsome and dazzling as well. "Thank you. Y-you look gorgeous as well." He whispered.
Now with the suit and tie, Jungkook looked like a prince, and Taehyung felt embarrassed for looking so plain and boring to be with Jungkook.
Jungkook smiled widely. "Thanks." Then he gently grabbed Taehyung's hand. "Let's go?"
Taehyung nodded and as they both reached the door, he gasped as he remembered something. "Wait." He quickly ran to his room leaving the younger confused.
The brunette directly reached the table of his room where a plain vase was situated. There stood the white rose, its stem soaked in water to avoid it wilting. But then, some of its leaves have fallen off and a few petals are gradually fading its color.
Nevertheless, Taehyung still clutched it, not also forgetting to carry the small box of contact lenses, and went back outside to the waiting maknae. He will just put the lenses on when they arrive at the venue.
