"Where are you taking me?"

Taehyung asked Jungkook as they are now inside the car, with the raven head driving and the brunette on the front seat. Jungkook just smiled at him genuinely and looks back at the road.

"Patience babe."

Taehyung looked down and blushed at the name. He will never get used to Jungkook calling him that. He sits silently at his place and just waited.

Not long after, Jungkook stopped the car in front of a tall hotel building. The security guard greeted the younger and welcomed them inside like he's anticipating for their arrival. Jungkook led Taehyung inside and they took the elevator. The brunette saw the raven head pushed the button of the top floor and he looked at the latter confused. Jungkook just squeezed his hand and smiled handsomely.

Now as Taehyung observes his boyfriend's appearance, the male was dressed nicely. He wears a white button up shirt, with sleeves folded on his arms, and a black skinny pants. Taehyung looks at himself and felt embarrassed all of a sudden. He's wearing a plain white shirt from work, layered with a gray jacket, and partnered with ripped jeans and sneakers.

"Why are you all dressed up?" The brunette asked.

Jungkook still smiles. "You'll see."

The elevator dinged and opened at the top floor. The two boys walked together hand in hand, with the raven head leading the way. They reached a door at the end of the hallway and stopped.

The raven head faced the brunette and reached for his glasses. He then carefully took it off, folded, and put it at the brunette's jacket pocket.

Taehyung just watched silently, not moving. Jungkook walked behind him then felt him cover his eyes before opening the door with one hand.

He felt his heart started to beat loudly in his chest, his anticipation rising from what awaits him at the back of this door. The younger was positioned behind the older one and he led the latter towards the place while still covering his eyes.

It was cold, Taehyung thought, as he felt his hair was being blown and gushes of wind hit his face. Good thing, he was wearing his jacket.

"Don't open your eyes until I say so." Taehyung heard Jungkook whispered and felt the latter leave his place behind him. He stayed still in excitement with his eyes closed, waiting for the younger's next instruction.

Not very long after, Jungkook told him to open his eyes. The brunette complied very slowly and he gasped.

They're in a rooftop that's why it was slightly cold. The place was decorated with lanterns and white roses. At the corner were three men with violins in their hands, and as soon as they saw Taehyung opened his eyes, they started playing.

Taehyung listened to the beautiful melody, and it was familiar. He then remembered it was the song back in the prom, the night he and Jungkook became together. He saw a white carpet under his feet and it extended towards the center.

At the middle of the place was a table for two, and a vase with white roses at the center. Taehyung's eyes found Jungkook walking towards him with a handsome smile, now with also a bouquet of white roses at his hand.

"Happy birthday, my love." Jungkook softly said, handing him the white roses.

Taehyung felt his eyes brim with tears. Never in his whole life had someone did all this effort just for him. He was just an ordinary person, celebrating his birthday with hours and hours of work shift and study. Only Granny and Yoongi would remember and greet him. Nothing more. Nothing special.
