I inwardly cursed myself as I walked down the street for not picking up my jacket, the wind was bitter and it kept showering. My hands were the only thing that was warm as they both held a styrofoam cup of hot chocolate, one for me one for Harry. I had a swarm of butterfly's in my stomach because even though Harry new I was moving to America he didn't know it was going to be so soon. Although I had only known him for about two weeks I really felt as if he was one of my best friends, he made me smile and I could trust home with anything. I also definitely fancied him and his gorgeous eyes, I couldn't help my self I'm teenage girl you cannot judge!
I turned the familiar path and walked over the stone ground and around the corner until Harry's slouched figure came into focus. He hadn't seen me yet and was facing the other so me being me decided I was going to make or last time ever seeing each other memorable. I'm pretty sure from the looks people were giving me it wasn't often they see petite girls creeping about near a homeless boy. I tip toed up to where he was leaning against the wall and placed the cups down on the dirty floor before putting my hands out in front of me and bringing them down onto his shoulders. I felt his body jump in surprise, the sharp intake of breath that he took and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Damn Shorty, you nearly gave me a heart-attack!" he exclaimed, I continued to laugh uncontrollably all thought of what I was meant to tell him vanishing.
" Stop laughing, seriously stop it, " Harry complained, pouting his full lips.
After about five minutes of basically rolling on the ground I managed to stop laughing unlike Harry who had succeeding in not changing his expression and keeping it wearing that cute pout of his. I used his hand that he offered to pull myself up off the floor and back on my feet.
"Harry ?" I asked, he turned his face away from me, teasing me.
"Come on man. It was a joke!"
Nothing.
"Please look at me,"
Still nothing.
"I bring hot choc...."
His head whipped round so fast I'm surprised it didn't fall off,
" Where?!" he asked ( more like demanded )" his eyes darting about looking for the cups of God's gift to the world
" Ahhh I see now,"
"You see what?" he enquired his eyes still roaming the area,
" You only want me for the hot chocolate I understand, it's okay I'll leave now,"I fake cried
Suddenly his strong arms pulled me into his chest and his face in my hair. I just stood there for a moment, taking it all in. His unique smell, his warm body and his comforting embrace all surrounding me and engulfing my senses.
"Hey. I'll always want you around shorty, never doubt that," he whispered into my hair, His breath tickling my scalp. The words were so sweet and loving that I genuinely had to hold back tears. We stood there for what felt like seconds but was probably several sunlight days I stepped back and looked at him.
"We really need to talk,"
