THIRD PERSON
Kiara

Kiara jumps onto her bed after taking a shower after coming back from a long day at the beach.

She scrolled through instagram and commented on Steph's instagram, then turned off her phone and started watching some Netflix on her laptop.

"Kiara! Foods ready!"

Syd yelled from downstairs. Kiara then quickly got up from her bed and ran down the stairs ready for Syd's amazing home cooked meal.

But once she reached the bottom of the stairs she noticed it didn't smell like any cooking was happening down there.

"I thought you said the foods ready?"

Kiara starts as she walks into the kitchen, which was opened up to the living room, to reveal Matt, Syd and William sitting on the living room couch.

"Well if there's no food then I'm going back upstairs"

Kiara states but before she could walk away, William ruffled the iconic McDonalds bag that Kiara can not resist.

"Ten piece chicken nugget, fries and an iced tea. I tried to get you a vanilla cone but the machine was broken."

William says scratching the back of his neck.

Kiara was taken back by how William was able to remember her regular order.

"Okay, I'll talk."

Kiara then takes a seat at the other end of the couch William is sitting at and makes the most space between them.

"We'll be upstairs."

Matt says as he and Syd head upstairs and Kiara grabs the bag from William.

"I'm sorry."

William tells Kiara but she doesn't believe it.

"You said that before."

Kiara says as she opens up the chicken nuggets box.

"And I mean it."

William tells her and she just decides to keep quiet.

"Kiara I love you, I swear I never cheated on you. That was my ex trying to text me and I just deleted her messages."

William tries to explain himself but all Kiara did was turn on the tv and put the volume on high to try and cover up Williams excuses.

"Kiara please! Listen to me!" William yells over the tv which clearly got Kiara mad as she turned off the Tv and slams the remote on the coffee table.

"Listen to you?! Don't you see that I've tried! You never even listened to be when were together! I tried to make your excuses make sense to me, but they never did! I loved you to William but don't you think that it's the best that we broke up anyways? You chose to stay here in Toronto and I chose to stay in Calgary! We can't even have a long distance relationship if I don't even know if I can trust you!"

Kiara explains to William with tears ready to spill out her eyes.

"I-"

"Would it really be worth it?! We were not meant to be together and you need to get that into your head! I don't even know what would be worth it, worth us!"

Right after Kiara said that, William then reached over to Kiara's cheek and pulled her into him as he connects their lips together.

The two slowly kiss as they both try and savour that moment. The two both knew they missed each other and this kiss just sealed that thought.

"You are worth it to me Kiara."

William says once they pulled away. Kiara was only able to nod a yes smiling.

"You are worth it to willy, but we can't get together, at least not right now."

"You have hockey back here and I have basketball back in Calgary. We both have to follow our dreams. I know ever since we were kids you loved Hockey, and you knew I loved basketball."

"You're right."

William replies knowing that he can't win this argument, he never wins when he knows Kiara is always right.
