imagine zach fake proposing to you at rosie's to get a free shake.
"i'm bored." you whine as you play with the your food. zach's eyes flickered to your good then he slowly smiled. you raise your eyebrow suspiciously.
"what are you thinking, dempsey?"
"give me your ring, y/n. and follow my lead." he said. your eyes glanced down to see your ring that your mother gave to you. you raise your eyebrows and slowly pulled off your ring. zach brushes his shirt down, straightening it. zach gets on one knee. you finally catch on, he was fake proposing.
"y/f/n, will you make me the happiest man alive and.."
everyone's eyes turned toward our table. "i wanted to ask you this question at our favorite place. we even met here and it's been our place. and i want to share my life with you. will you marry me?" he says while smiling. you pretend to be surprised. you faked a few tears.
"yes zach!" you exclaimed while you threw your arms around him. he stands up and gently grabs your hand. he puts on the ring on your ring finger.
everyone claps. zach shyly smiles at you. one of the waiters came out with a chocolate shake with two straws, one straw at each end. the waiter was an elderly woman. "you guys are just too cute!" she compliments as she pinches your guys cheek. you slightly blush at this and so does zach. the waiter leaves. you looked down at the ring. zach notices.
"soon, babe. soon," zach says as if he's reading your mind.
