imagine when justin finally told you about the tapes and him being on it

you saw the empty desk again in communications class. when the bell finally rang, you shot up from your seat and to zach dempsey, justin's best friend. "where the hell is he?" you asked frustrated mixed with concern. you didn't know how you felt. he wasn't answering your texts and calls, he was nowhere to be seen. you didn't know if you wanted to scream or cry. zach's eyes flickered to yours. he saw your e/c eyes tearing up. his mocha brown eyes softened.

"he's at bryce's house." zach replies.

you shudder at his name, you didn't like bryce at all. "thanks zach. can you possibly take me there?" you asked.

he smiled softly at this. "of course y/n."

school was already over, you got into zach's audi and he starts to drive to bryce's house. you always envied his wealthiness, he was rich but he was a pig nonetheless. zach's car stopped softly, you got out of the car. you turned your heads towards zach. you give a shy smile. "thanks again, zach."

"no problem." with that, he drove off.

you walked up to bryce's door and braced yourself. you pounded your fist into the door. a few seconds later, bryce opens the door with a beer bottle in his hand. a smug smirk spreads across his lips. "y/n, what a surprise."

"yeah. yeah. i know justin is here. where is he?" you asked, getting right to the point.

"i'll get him." bryce says while his eyes gazed upon your body, which made you feel uncomfortable. "come in. have a seat." he says, opening the door wider. you nod and walked in. you sat on the leather couch, with your hands in your lap. a few minutes later, justin walks in his liberty high varsity jacket on. his hair was a mess, and his eyes were blood shot. you slowly stood up and walked to him. tears were threatening to spill. "justin." your voice comes out softly.

silence fills the room. it looked like he was about cry, and sure enough he did.

his eyes flickered towards yours. "i- i need to tell you something." he said. tears were already escaping. you couldn't help to feel the pain that justin had been feeling right now. you reach his cheek, rubbing the tear away with the thumb. "you can tell me anything." you said softly.

"i- i- i- killed hannah baker." he stuttered. your eyes widened at this. "i may look strong and tough on the outside but right now i'm dying inside. hannah baker left tapes to the people who killed her. i was the beginning to the end. everything is getting out of control ya know?" he says. you nodded. "meth seth is back and i feel like my whole world is falling apart. i don't go to school anymore because i don't want to loose you either. everything i touch, i destroy. i don't want to destroy you. because i love you, y/n. so damn much." he whispered the last part.

you don't reply, tears rolled off your cheek. you engulf him in a hug, your arms wrapped around him, squeezing him. he did the same, it felt like he would never let go.

"i'm not going. not now. not ever."

Okay i legit cried writing this. the gif was the saddest part in the movie. UGH. Okay anyways, I'm now obsessed with Riverdale. I'm only on like ep 6 and my friends already gave me spoilers but it's so interesting!! Thanks so much Yellow_Dolan for her letting me share her Netflix account. She is a doll and she's so nice.
