Before I start, this chapter is dedicated to a good friend of mine, 76heart. She has helped me a lot and is a truly great person! She even made the new cover for the story.

Chapter Two
Tobias
I glanced down at my outfit in the mirror. I wore a black button down with jeans. Why was a even caring about what I was wearing? I was acting so much like a girl. Boy was I glad that Zeke wasn't with me. He knew pretty much my every thought. It is kind of creepy. Anyway, I grabbed my aviator sunglasses and I walked down the street.
I had promised Remington that I would meet her at the coffee shop at three today. For some reason, I had this sickening feeling in my stomach. It was as if I was about to give a speech in front of thousands of people. Did I like Remington? No way. Sure, she was really nice, but I couldn't possibly move on as quickly as I am seeming to. This was about as scary as Zeke and my thoughts. He sighed to myself lightly. Sometimes I swore that my emotions were equal to the drama in a soap opera.
I glanced at the coffee shop as I came to it. It was a small and quaint brick building. I glanced at the tables that were outside and was Remington sitting at one of them with what looked like a sketch pad. I walked over to her and sat down in the chair across from her,"I hope I am not intruding on anything," I said to her with a smile.
"Oh no, you weren't, trust me," she told me. I smiled and glanced down at her drawing. It was of three birds in the sky. It reminded me so much of Tris's tattoo. My breath caught in my throat.
"It is beautiful," I commented after a few moments I took to recompose myself. She blushed an simply rolled her eyes.
"Oh shut up, Tobias."
"Why should I be quiet when it is the truth?"
"If you don't be quiet, I will kill you, Tobias Eaton," she threatened, trying her best not to laugh.
"Oh, you used my first and last name. This truly must be serious," I laughed, earning a lightly slap in return. We laughed together, smiles on both of our faces.
"Okay, let's go buy some coffee now," she said. She got up, grabbing her sketch pad. I got up and followed her inside. I glanced around at the place. The smell was pretty good, and there wasn't many people there, so it wasn't so loud that it would give you a headache. I ordered just some normal black coffee. Remington ordered something that was such a mouthful that I won't even bother to try and tell you what the heck it was.
We sat back down at our table outside. I sipped my black coffee and watched as Remington drew more birds. The more she drew, the more they looked like Tris's tattoo. I bit my lip as I scrutinized her every movement. Remington looked up at me when she noticed I was watching her. "I guess you really think I am good," she said. I laughed and blushed lightly.
"Yeah, you are great," I told her. Once she was finished with her drawing, she closed her sketch pad and looked at me with a smile. We talked for about a good two hours. We both laughed and joked. Once we both finished our coffees, we threw away our cups.
"So Tobias. got anything else to do today?" Remington asked me. I thought for a moment before I shook my head.
"Nope. Why, do you have something else planned for us?" I asked her.
"No, not yet at least. I was thinking that maybe we could get to know each other better by going to my house and maybe watching a movie," she said.
"That sounds like a great idea."
"Good, come on!" she said with a laugh and took my hand. She then started to drag me to wherever she lived. She took me to a small house that looked slightly like coffee shop we were just at. "I live here with my roommate, but she is on vacation right now," she told me. We walked to the door and she grabbed a set of keys from her back pocket. She grabbed one and slipped it into the key hole. She opened the now unlocked door. I stepped in and looked around the new area. It was beautifully decorated.
Remington walked me to her living room. I sat down on the couch and I felt like a was going to fall inside it and never come out. Remington laughed at my reaction. She rolled her eyes and went back to pick a movie. She picked a totally random one and she put it into the DVD player.
She then walked into what I guessed was her kitchen. I could hear her turn on the microwave and then the popping of popcorn. A few moments after the beep sounded, signaling the popcorn was done, she sat down beside me. "If you fall into a deep, dark abyss of my couch, so will I," she said and laughed after it. I rolled my eyes and leaned back as the movie started.
Only when I had tried to move, I realized that Remington had fallen asleep with her head on my shoulder. I blushed hard. I bit my lip, quite unsure of what to do. I moved my should lightly, and I guess that Remington was a light sleeper because she immediately jolted awake. Her faced turned into a tomato when she realized she had fallen asleep with her head on my shoulder. "Oh my gosh! I am so sorry, Tobias. You can leave right now if you want to," she said to me.
"Remington, it's fine. I don't hate you or anything," he told her. Remington laughed and she smiled lightly.
"Good. I was getting worried there for a second."
"You know, we should do this again," I told her. She looked up at me with a large smile on her face.
"I believe that you are finally correct for once."
I eyed her with a smirk,"For once? Man you are cruel," I joked.
"I try my best," she told me. I smiled down at her. For once I a long, long time, I felt like someone understood me completely.
