I was glad to be out of the house. I woke up earlier just so I can leave and avoid seeing my parents. More specifically, my mom.

She however, being my mom, knew me best and was already waiting there at the dining room table, sipping her morning coffee. I had an unwanted conversation with her but it did result in her apologizing for what she said. I could still tell she was not supportive of my decision but I'm glad to be on better terms with her.

-

I was one of the first students to make it to class. I sat there as the class slowly filled up with students before the bell. The only way I could occupy myself was by staring out the window in silence because a) I have not made many friends yet and b) I forgot my headphones in a rush to leave the house. That's right, I had to sit alone in the class for 40 minutes in silence.

It was 5 minutes until the bell when I heard a loud,  "move dumbass!".
My attention was diverted from the window to the doorway to see two familiar boys both struggling to fit through the door way at the same time.  An orange head and a raven head. I hadn't realized the orange head was in my class. I've been seeing him so much lately but I still didn't know his name.
I feel guilty for not even noticing him.

My eyes widened as they both made their way to their respective desks. I quickly turned back to the window to not get caught staring.

I caught a quick glance of them sending daggers at eachother before sitting. Still fighting I see.

I'm glad to see no bruises on the orange head's face from the previous night.

- a couple days later -

"(L/n)!"

"Wah?! Ye-yes?" my head snapped up to face the front of the class so fast it's a surprise I didn't break my neck.
"Please don't doze off in my class again." the teacher sighs at my behaviour.

I fell asleep? I must've been tired from waking up so early.

"They called you down to the office," the teacher gestured to a white slip she was holding. I nervously walk up to grab the slip as I feel all eyes on me. Quickly I exit after grabbing it, not sparing anyone a glance.

..Did I do something wrong?

I nervously open the door to the faculty office, expecting to be met with a furious looking principal but instead am met with a petite teacher who is sitting at a computer with a warm smile. "Are you (L/n)(F/n)?"
Nodding quickly, I'm confused on why I was called down here.

"It says here on your attendance that you haven't been attending your club's meetings. Which can possibly effect your record."

"..But I was told my request didn't go through?" my eyebrows furrow.

"That's strange," the lady types in more information, "because it says you're on the attendance and that you've missed the introductory meeting last Monday and another on the meeting the following Tuesday. There's another meeting tonight that I hope you will attend."

"O-Okay. Thank you sensei. I will be sure to attend tonight's meeting." I bow before leaving. I leave  confused but realize they must have managed to make my request go through. As I walk back I just can't contain the excitement. I can feel myself grinning from ear to ear as I skip through the halls, "WAHHOOOO! I get to join volleyball!"

I'm quickly shut up however when a teacher comes out of her class for a very harsh scolding, scaring the shit out of me. I bow what had to have been way over 90 degrees before speed walking off back to my classroom.
