Just Two Seats Away...

Jiro's Perspective:

  Here I was, the first day of sixth grade, outside of my school, Northwood Elementary.
   "JIRO!!!" a voice yelled across the blacktop.
It was my best friend, Hunter Bertram.
  He ran up and practically jumped on top of me. Hunter was kinda short, so it didn't do much damage to my tall, thin, but well built frame.
I laughed a bit. "Hunter, I swear, if you do that again, I'll-"
  "JIRO HOW WAS YOUR SUMMER?!" he continued yelling, not even listening to what I was saying.
   "We really need to hang out more over the summer, to avoid doing this again next year," I suggested. "I was gone in Hawaii all summer or I would have, sorry homie."
  He faked a sad face, saying,"Jiro I'm sad now," then he started laughing. "But it's ok! WE'RE IN SIXTH GRADE NOW, WE RULE THE FREAKING SCHOOL NOW!"
  That's my best friend for you. Thankfully, the bell rang, and we got in our lines for Ms. Flores' homeroom. I'd have Ms. Zevin for an actual class, but Ms. Flores for a homeroom teacher.
   Homeroom was pretty basic, Hunter sat next to me so it was WAY more interesting.
  When Hunter, Nick, Diego and I all left homeroom to go to Ms. Zevin's class, I saw a girl that I kinda knew, but for some reason, unlike all the other years I had known her, she looked...different. I really didn't know what to think of her then.
   After introducing herself and explaining her class, Ms. Zevin created a seating chart that we would use for the next week until she got to know us.
   The girl I spoke about earlier, Abbie, was exactly two seats away from me! Why had I never seen this before? I think she was actually...pretty, this whole entire time, except my blind-ass self couldn't see it!! The whole entire class we talked, and I couldn't help but get lost in my stare into those chocolate-brown eyes, during our conversation.
   The only two people separating her from falling in love with me, was her weird boyfriend, Ben, and this kid, Caden Bazo, that sat inbetween Abbie and I.

Hey guys! Sorry, but this story is going to be decently short chapters, but probably more short than less long chapters! Just so you know, this is all a joke for my friend who wanted me to write some fanfic about his friend!!!
