'Thank you so much Jenna and Hunter for joining me today.' Monique, the interviewer for Country People Magazine, said, shaking our hands.

'Pleasure to be here,' I said.

'Alright, let's get down to business,' she said flipping her notebook open and setting up her recorder.

'What is the married life like?'

'Well, Jenna and I have been living together for the past year. Not much has really changed.' Hunter noted.

'I agree completely.' I said with a smile.

'Hunter we just got word of your Grammy nods, congrats. What does next year look like for you and music?'

'Thank you. I'm working on an album. It's going to be really different from the others for a few different reasons. I'm definitely looking at including some kind of live concert DVD type material. I'm hoping to have it done by the middle end of next year.'

The interviewer nodded. 'Now Jenna, you're living out the fantasy and dreams of so many young girls across America. What's one of the less glamorous parts of being married into this celebrity life style?'

'That's a good one. There are lots of complex parts to living in this life style. It's hard to go anywhere without people snapping pictures. Whether it be to work, the pharmacy or getting gas. I'm still getting used to people being excited to see me in public.'

'I see how that can be weird. Hunter, how would having a family change your career?'

'I think moving on with my life would be the only way my music can grow. Jenna and I know when the time comes a family will happen. We aren't rushing. We're enjoying being married.' Hunter squeezed my hand gently; we agreed to keep this between us as long as possible.

'Jenna, you're a girl from a small town in Canada, now married to Hunter Hayes. How has your life changed? Is there anythig exciting we can expect from you in the new year?'

My life is totally different, I have friends that professionally sing or act, I go to red carpets, I have this really handsome guy over here that I call my husband' I said, playfully nudging Hunter. However, 'I have a few things in the works following up the soft launch of my EP. I am excited to announce I will be opening for Kacey Musgraves' thanksgiving show at the Ryman.

'That's great. Your wedding took place at the middle end of October here in Nashville. How tricky was it to plan a wedding with Hunter being on tour and then the Manchester accident?

'Well when it came time to plan, Jenna did a lot of her stuff. The accident in Manchester made me slow down for sure. I had whiplash and a cracked rib...' Hunter's voice trailed off.

"Life is precious," I interjected, "Hunter helped out when and where I needed him. I think his favourite part was cake tasting. We were crossing off the to-do list literally up until two weeks before the day. We had a lot of help from friends too." I said, adding on to Hunter's answer.

'Often times, young, famous love cracks under the pressure. What makes you two different?'

'Jenna is so incredibly supportive. If I end up staying late at the studio, dinner is waiting for me in the microwave. Our communication is great. We are so open with each other.'

'Yeah, exactly what Hunter said,' I added, 'He's equally supportive of me and my choices. We just want the best for each other and to be happy.'

'You went to Europe for your honeymoon. How was that?'

'A lot of fun. We got to see four countries, and several major cities. I loved it. I loved Paris and Greece is a check off of my bucket list.'

'It was fun, I hadn't really been to these parts of Europe before.' Hunter noted. 'I think Pompeii and Greece were my favourite.'

'Thank you guys so much again. We will do the photos in the studio which is down the hall.' We shook Monique's hand and thanked her for her time. We made our way to do the cover shoot. It was finally noon by the time we finished, and we headed home for left over shepherd's pie and a soak in the bath.
