Pastry dough recipe

Pastry dough can be used in variety of things like patties and and tarts so I thought I would share the recipe

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups of flour (all purpose)
2 tsp baking soda
2 egg yolks
1/2 - 3/4 cup cold water
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter softened

Procedure:
In a large bowl, put on your flour, baki soda, salt, and butter. Use a pastry cutter or forks and incorporate the butter into the dry mixture. It should make a crumble of flour and butter. Then, add in the yolks and beat with an electric beater. Once you've done that grab a spatula and SLOWLY pour in your water. It should be between 1/2 to 3/4 cups and as soon as you have a ball of dough don't add anymore water, you have to be precise with it. One the ball of dough forms, knead it for a good 5 minutes with a well floured surface. Wrap the dough in cling film and pop it in the fridge for 30 mins. Then it is ready to use.
