Sarah's POV
I watched HER leave MY forest. I smirked as my eyes narrowed. I looked back to see my royal sprites flying to me.
"Queen. King. Lovely seeing you here." I said finally being able to talk normal. My mother taught me to talk differently around her sister because it annoys her.
"Yes, Forest. It is lovely being here. How are you, Sarah?" Queen asked me. I smiled gently as I let them sit in the palm of my hands. Roxy flew over too and sat on my wrist.
"I'm fine, Queen. How is your kingdom fairing?" I asked them.
"Very well. We're having a ball tomorrow for our son and two daughters. I want them to enjoy themselves before our son announces his chosen queen." King said and we girls giggled.
"I'm surprised to see him settle down with a girl despite being so rude." Roxy said and King looks away as he scratches his cheek.
"Ah. Well. Uh...I suppose it is a surprise for the whole kingdom when he will tell them at the ball." King said as Queen turns to me. I see her smile with a look in her eyes. Uh no.
"So. I heard that you stopped the princess's guards from hurting something." Queen said as Roxy and the King looks at me surprised. I normally avoid the Elves even though they live in my forest.
"It's nothing that special. Just something that walked unknowingly into their territory." I said shrugging as they nodded. I know the Queen won't drop it until she has an good enough answer to satisfy her, but she let me slided. For now at least.
"Will you be coming to the ball?" Queen asked changing the subject from me to the ball. I smiled gently.
"Of course. I will be there." I said as the Queen and King nods and left. Roxy stays a bit to talk some more before leaving. I waved as she flew away. I felt someone's aura behind me and smiled.
"Hello, Princess." I said as I looked over my shoulder. Princess Midnight stood there frowning before she sighs relaxing.
"Hi, Sarah. Or should I still call you Forest." Midnight said and I frowned as I narrowed my eyes at her. She smiles as she laughs a bit.
"Ok. Ok. I won't. It's almost time." Midnight said and I nodded as we walked over to the big tall tree half in the water. I turned to where my back face the tree and vines wrapped around my legs, across my arms and stomach as they pulled me into the tree. I felt myself became sleepy.
Midnight's POV
I watched as Sarah became one with the tree (pic above. Close enough) and lines all along the tree and Sarah glows. Once Sarah goes to sleep, the lines spread out through the forest as bringing life back to some of the forest. I hummed looking at Sarah one last time before turning to leave. I stopped seeing the Guardian standing on the edge of the clearing.
"Why are you here, Princess? You're not allowed in this part the forest." The woman said glaring at me. I let no emotions show as I answered her.
"What I do is none of of your business. I don't answer to the likes of you. Now, if you would excuse me." I said and walked past her, into the forest. I have permission to be there by my mother and Sarah. Now. I wonder when the man is coming back. I would like to talk with him.
