About Skin-Changers:
Skin Changers were a great race of their own, known to only be able to change into one animal form. They had cities and towns like every other race. They are much like humans but most choose to marry elves into their family once or twice so their children can live long lives.
Near the end of the First Age most orcs, goblins and even humans would team up in groups and swarm the cities, often clearing out them of their people for some sort of sport. Soon the magnificent race was near to extinction. Now as far as you know you and your big brother Beorn are ones left.
About Telvana:
You are one of the few Skin Changers left. Your mother was a beautiful black haired elf, your father was a tall dark haired shape shifter. Somehow your parents mixing made you able to change into any animal form but not to your choosing. You are lucky enough to have a very protective big brother. His name is Beorn, his form is a very large strong bear. You live in a little cottage with everything you want.
You like to grow roses in your garden, groom the horses and tend to the cows and chickens.

But when you change into another form, you can't control yourself much.
