Chapter 12

Jack's P.O.V.

After Jenn called and told me to go to the hotel without her, Eva Rose, or the O2L boys, I got in the taxi alone. I went to the hotel, checked in, and went up to my room. I unpacked, and after I did, I texted Anthony to see what he was doing, and he said nothing. We made plans to meet at the pool in ten minutes.

For the rest of the day, Anthony and I went swimming. Some fans recognized us, and we took pictures with them. After spending a while at the pool, I called Connor to ask where they were, and he said that Jenn was talking to some girl that was supposed to ride with us, but she ran away and they couldn't find her. He must be talking about Eva Rose! Why would she run away? That doesn't make sense. Jenn is so nice!

I told Connor that when he found her, to tell her that I wanted to talk to her. He said that Jenn was going to call the hotel soon to ask them to hold their rooms and Eva Rose's. We chatted for a little while longer about what they were going to do next, and then whe had to go. Jenn had come back with news from the hotel. I told him to text me when he found out what it is, and he agreed.

A couple minutes later, I got a text from Connor saying that Eva Rose was in the hotel. Apparently, the receptionist told him that a girl who exactly matched Eva Rose's description had come to the hotel with a bunch of British people who were also with Playlist Live.

I went to the front desk and asked them about Eva Rose. They said that she is in the hotel, and that someone had just asked about her on the phone. I asked the lady what room she was in, but she wouldn't tell me. She said that it was confidential and that they aren't allowed to give someone's room number to anyone else unless I could prove I was with Playlist. I didn't have my ID with me so I was screwed.

That made me frustrated, but I would eventually find out. It was then that I got a text from Kian saying to be careful around JC because he was annoyed at the whole "looking for a girl who was safe the whole time" thing. I know about JC's disorder, and I was afraid of what he would do to Eva Rose. I didn't want him to hurt her because she seemed so vulnerable, and lets not forget, beautiful.

I texted him back asking when they would get to the hotel, and he said that they were pulling into the parking lot now. By then, I had managed to make my way up to my room, put clothes on, and style my hair. I went back down to the lobby and met the guys and Jenn. Kian was right about JC, but he looked more than annoyed, he looked absolutely furious.

I helped them bring their bags up, but then I went back to my room. I layed down on my bed and got on twitter. After a while, I texted Connor to see what everyone was doing for dinner, but I got no reply.

I checked my instagram, and then decided i wanted to take a walk. I went to the elevator and rode down to the ground level, and I went out by the pool. It is very pretty at night.

The pool has lights in it that change color and I can see the sun setting over the ocean. There are couples on lounge chairs being all cute.

I hope I can have a relationship like that with Eva Rose. After how she reacted today, she probably hates me and will never want to talk to me again.

I left the pool and went back into the building. I went to the elevator and pressed the button for my floor. I went up, and when the elevator dinged, got out, but I didn't go to my room. Rather, I went to the stairs. I don't know why, but I went up to the roof. When I got to the door, I heard some voices, but I couldn't tell who they belonged to. I opened the door and saw Eva Rose.....with Trevor.

They were looking into each others eyes and they looked like they were in deep conversation. Then he slid over to where she was sitting on the ground and he put his arm around her. She giggled and leaned into him more. Of course she falls for him. Why wouldn't she fall for him? He's good looking, a good singer, he's funny, and lets not forget that he is less than a year older than her.

I wish I was in his place right now.

Eva Rose laughed again and then Trevor stood up. He held out his hands and she took them, and he pulled her up. She hugged him, standing on her toes, while he wrapped his arms around her waist. When they let go, they turned towards the door, but because I only opened it a crack, I was able to close it and run back down the steps without being noticed.

I went back to my room to catch my breath. When I felt like I was okay, I called Ricky and asked what they were doing for dinner. He said that they were going to the hotel restaurant in a couple minutes and he asked if I wanted to come. I said sure, and I asked if I could meet them in whichever room they were hanging in. He told me the room number, but he also said to be careful around JC, because he was pretty mad earlier. I asked if JC hurt anyone, and Ricky told me to hold on so that he could talk in private.

When he was alone, he told me not to freak out. He told me how Jenn told him most of what had happened. Ricky told me how Jenn was going to go see Eva Rose, and she wanted someone to go with her and how JC offered to go. When they got to her room, JC blew up and he couldn't control it because of his disorder. He told me how JC started to beat Eva Rose, which made me so, so angry that he would do that to a fourteen year old girl for crying out loud! He said that Jenn ran into his room yelling for help with JC, and as the guys were running to Eva Rose's room, they heard her yelling about her dad and telling him to stop hurting her. That made me angrier, that her dad was the one that made her scared of people. Ricky said that the guys tackled JC to the bed while Jenn and Andrea calmed her. He told me that because Trevor is her age, and the rest of the guys were able to hold JC down, Trevor went over to Eva Rose to comfort her. He told me that she and Trevor just got back from their walk, which he said lasted for a pretty long time.

When I heard this, I was sure that she likes Trevor. They were apparently gone for a long time, and they way that they were talking and hugging made me sure that they liked each other.

I couldn't dwell on these thoughts for long, however, because I had to go to Ricky's room and meet they guys for dinner. I just needed to control myself so that I don't say anything to JC or Trevor.

Trevor's P.O.V.

When me and Eva Rose went up to the roof, I was surprised how easily she opened up to me. That must have taken a lot of strength, because she said she didn't watch my videos, and we had only just met.

It made me upset that her dad had hurt her. Why would he want to? She seemed so sweet.

We were up on the roof for a long time. We were talking and getting to know each other. She told me a lot about herself, but I still felt like she was hiding something from me. I guess that I will eventually find out, though.

After I felt like I had learned a lot about her, I decided that I really like her. Not like I want to go out with her, but like she could be one of my best friends. If she is going to be hanging out with O2L, there would be someone that I am really close to, and someone my age.

I would never ask Eva Rose out, though, because I would be too afraid to hurt her. If she was older, I would think her and Connor would make a great couple. Maybe her and Jack would be cute, but apparently, they didn't get along well. And, he is also a few years older than her, and, I think they would each want someone their own age.

She wasn't talking while I was thinking that, so I hope I didn't say it out loud. We were both just looking at the sunset, which was very beautiful. My stomach grumbled because I hadn't eaten since I was on the plane. Eva Rose giggled at the noise, poked my stomach, and said that we should go back down because everyone would probably be wondering where we were.

I stood up and held out my hands to help her up. She took them, and stood up. I hugged her, and I felt no sparks, nothing 'romantic'. I am kind of relieved because I just want to be friends with her.

We walked back down, hand in hand, but just as friends. I invited her to dinner with me and the boys, but she turned down the offer because she is tired. She went back into her room and went into Ricky's, which was where all of the guys were. Ricky was on the phone, and when he got off, he said that we are waiting on Jack. When Jack got here, we all went to the hotel restaurant and ate dinner.

After dinner, we all went back up to our rooms and went to sleep because the Playlist Live events start tomorrow.
