Chapter 18

Eva Rose 's POV

Omg I was going on my very first roller coaster.

With Tyler Oakley.

Holy crap I really hope I don't embarrass myself too badly.

We were waiting in line when someone comes and hugs me from behind. I turn around andddd,

"TREVOR!! Hi oh my god are you coming on too please say yes I'm really scared I think you should come."

"Chill out, yes I'm coming. Will you shut up and breathe now?"

"Make me."

"Oh you shouldn't have said that."

And with that, Trev started poking me all over my body until Tyler cut in.

"I hate to break up this little cutesy fest we have going on here, but we are next in line and if you want to get on the ride you need to take your passes out."

"Oh, right. Haha," I said.

We all got our passes out and handed them to the man working the ride. He buckled us into our seats and made sure they were tight enough.

"Please don't unbuckle your seat belts and do keep your hands inside the car at all times," he said.

Each car fit three people across, so I was sitting in between Tyler and Trevor so I felt a little safer, but I was still so nervous. We were in the very first car so I had a clear view of the track ahead of us.

The car went slow for a few yards and then it shot away at a billion miles per hour. Quickly approaching was a big ascending hill in front of us. As soon as we hit that we started going a little bit slower because we needed to climb the hill. We got to the top and paused just briefly enough for me to see the practically straight down slope we were about to descend. IT WAS INSANE!!!! I can't believe I'm doing this oh my gosh Dear Lord Baby Jesus and Mother Mary please help me for if I die-

My prayers/thoughts were cut off by a sharp jerk and then we were going down. I was screaming and laughing and crying all at the same time and I didn't even know that that was possible. Tyler was vlogging this whole time and I can't wait to watch it holy crap.

After the hill we hit a sharp turn to the left and we went up slightly, but then...WE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN!!! Breathe in, breathe out, in, out. Wow this is actually really cool. We're going over a little lake and I can see my reflection in it woah.

Right after we get past the lake we abruptly turned right side up. We go up a little hill, then we go down a corkscrew thing, and then the ride was over.

We slowed to a stop and the person came around and unbuckled us from our seats. I stood up out of the car and almost fell over because I was so disoriented. Luckily, I didn't fall, and I'm pretty sure Tyler didn't get that on camera. After that, we caught up with everyone else and walked around for a little bit. After walking around for maybe a half hour, I started to feel dizzy, so I held onto Jack for support. I saw him look over at me, just as my vision started to go. The last thing I felt was him picking me up and telling the others to go find the first aid station.

Jack's POV

Something's wrong with Eva Rose. She just grabbed my arm and now she's starting to sway so I picked her up. I sent a couple people to go find the first aid building and I brought her over to a bench in the shade. I sat down, still holding her, and just thought for a little bit.

I felt her forehead, and she was incredibly warm. She must have been overheated. At least, I hope she's overheated because she doesn't seem to have eaten much since I met her. She'll probably be fine because we just need to cool her down and see what the paramedics say. I know this is a really bad time but she looks so beautiful. I hope she's well enough for the Playlist event tonight and our date. I'm going to bring her flowers, take her out to dinner, and then we are going to go mini golfing. I've got the whole night planned and I hope she has a great time. I'm not going to try anything on her, or try to kiss her or anything. I'm going to be a gentleman and respect her wishes, and unless she wants to, nothing too extreme will happen tonight.

Ricky and Trevor come back a minute later with a couple of EMT's and a wheelchair. They ask me to set her down and as we head back to the first aid station, they ask me to tell them what happened. I tell them everything and then I say I think she just overheated.

When we got there, they brought her inside and confirmed my thoughts. She was just overheated. They blew a little portable air conditioner on her and placed an ice pack on her forehead.

Ricky went to call the van company, and they should be here in 20 minutes, and Trevor was texting everyone, telling them when we were leaving and what happened.

Eva Rose woke up a couple minutes later, and the paramedics told her to take it easy and stay cool for the rest of the day, and she should be fine by the events tonight.

Thank god she was alright. I'm so glad she's able to come to the events tonight and our date. Now, I just need to figure out a way to entertain her for the rest of the day without making her exert herself too much.

The vans came soon and the paramedics took us back to the entrance of the park on golf cart things. We thanked them and got in the vans and then made our way back to the hotel. This time, I made sure Eva Rose was on my lap, and nice and comfortable. She cuddled into my chest and then fell asleep soon after.
