I grip the steering wheel tightly. my eyes squeezed shut, i could see through the walls of the building. i saw both my daughters, and my son. my vision shifted to Rae, my long lost best friend. justin had his spies, but as for me, if you wanted something done right, you do it your damn self. i took note of how my children have grown.

I always was a baby person. I smile at the thought and get out of the car, I step into the building only to meet a dark boy, he stares down at me. being that I am part vampire I am frozen at the age of sixteen. "hiyah!" I smile and he pauses for a second. his eyes narrow. suddenly he pushes me up against the wall. "are you Violet or lily? oh fuck it. either way your screwed." he growls. I open my mouth to tell him I was neither, but his lips slam on mine angrily. I push him off. he looks pissed. "you. are. not. ruining. my. chances. of .being. Alfa. " he growls and puts his hand on my neck. squeezing."now be quiet. and I MIGHT be gentle." he groans, rotating his hips into mine. I hear a scream behind me. a girly one. the dark boy drops me and grabs the girl behind him, revealing it to be Lilac, my youngest child. "put. her. down." I growl, all friendliness gone from my persona at the threatening of my daughter. "what the fuck do you care?" he smirks, he holds her from behind, he grabs her breast and kneads the flesh, pushing her closer into him. "I wasn't there for her for sixteen years. I'm here now. so I'll say it one more time. put. her. down. or so help me I will shove a sword in your eye and out the back of your skull." I say darkly. his mouth falls slack. he releases Lilac and she crumples to the floor, crying. I rush to her and embrace her, she sobs into my shoulder. "now. about being Alfa, you know curly can give you right to be Alfa right? all he gas to do is decree it." I say dryly. his face lights up. "and I'm not Violet or Lilac, I'm Riley. Their biological mother." I clarify, patting Lilacs back. "mom?" Lilac asks, looking up at me with those big blue eyes. "I thought rae was their mum?" The dark boy asks. "Rae was my best friend, the only one I trusted with my babies after I escaped their father. but now he's after you guys. so we need to go. now."
