Mum looks at me sternly before studying the state of me.

"Star! You can't be wearing this... Mess! You are the princess."

I glance down at my mucky dress and my tights, where the seams have been picked out by me in boredom in Tom's Chariot.

I sigh and mumble a reluctant "fine." and traipse upstairs to my room. I picture Jackie and Tom in my mind, frolicking about in the flowers, laughing. Bubbles, my laser puppy soon knocks the thought out of me by jumping up at me.
