It's been a few days since I met the magical Harrison, and he introduced me to the wonders of magic. He would say the word in such a tone, where I, a former skeptic couldn't help but be curious despite everything agreeing with my way of life, disagreed with magic. But, he managed to rid way of my skepticism and made way for some cool tricks. I chuckle as I watched Harrison set up his table in the corner of another street in Sleepy Peak. He turns around, "Is something funny?" He says, looking back a smile planted on his face. I smile back, "I'm just remembering something. So, anyway you called me here to help you with a trick?" He nods, excitingly, "Yes! Yes! But I don't have it set up right now. I only have the simple tricks set up for the kids. Card tricks, some flourishes." I raise a brow, "I'm pretty sure the crowd would be amazed with anything you do Harrison." I bite my tongue, that amount of admiration in that statement should have been held back a bit, because now I see Harrison looking dumb-founded. He chuckles, "Wow, thanks. But, this is a never before seen trick. I shall make you disappear!" I look at Harrison, who was wiggling his fingers in an attempt to seem mystical. "Oh. So you'll show me how it works?" He shakes his head no. "A magician never reveals his secrets." He winks at me, and I groan, "Then how am I supposed to know whether or not the trick worked--" Harrison walks up to me, and hushes me??? I pout. "Just trust me on this Y/N." I flush red, his face was exceptionally close to mine, "Alright." I say turning my head to face away from him.

The table was set up and soon crowds began to gather around the corner of the street. He did a few card flourishes. Making a pyramid, guessing the card the child picked out correctly. The crowd was loving it. Then, I knew it was my turn. The crowd was large now, mostly children, but it was still huge. Harrison motions to me, who was leaning against a wall. I walk up to stand right next to Harrison. I let out a small, "Hi" to the crowd, then I just focused on trying not to make any eye contact with any of the people. I turn to look at Harrison and whisper, "Just hurry with this okay? I didn't expect this many people." I say glancing at the crowd once more, it was way more intimidating the closer I was to Harrison's  'stage'. "Don't worry." Harrison whispers back. Next thing I knew a sheet was covered over me. I hear Harrison's voice yelling out to the crowd.

"In a count of three. Y/N my volunteer here will disappear!" The crowd gasps, and suddenly there's silence. I close my eyes, trying my best to put all my trust in Harrison. But hell, doing that is hard.

One.

I hear them counting down.

Two.

I try to focus on Harrison's voice only.

Three.

I open my eyes.

It was still dark, but I still heard the crowds gasping and cheering. I couldn't hear Harrison's voice. "Harrison?" I call out. I look around. There was nothing in here. I move my hands around there didn't seem to be any more sheet covering me. Where was I?

The crowds voices were muffling up. Then, they were gone. Absolute silence.

Fuck.

Why couldn't Harrison just tell me what he was going to do? I sniffle. What if I can't make it back?

I close my eyes, maybe it would all return if I just close my eyes again.

One.

Two.

Three.

I feel the sheet come off of me. "Y/N?" I hear Harrison's voice and I immediately open my eyes. I see Harrison, and I look around the crowd was gone. I look back towards Harrison. "I'm so glad your back. I never lost an actual person before. I'm really sorry Y/N, it's probably because I'm rusty at this. But at least--" I wrap my arms around Harrison, it felt like I was in there or the longest time ever, "You're an asshole."

"What?" Harrison says, and before he says anything else I release him from a hug and I punch him, right in the arm. "What the hell Harrison?! I was scared shitless in whatever realm you put me in! How long have I been in there? You should've told me what you were going to do before you did it!" I sniffle, I feel tears coming on, I try to fight them back, but failed miserably. I try to wipe the tears off with my sleeve. "I didn't know if you were going to come back."

Harrison sighs,

"I won't let that happen again." He brings me closer into a hug.

"I'm sorry." He says. It felt like an eternity since I was held like that by someone. I cry the last bit of tear left in me into his shoulder. When I finished we just stayed like that for a little while. "Thanks."
